I believe that over the last few years FG has facilitated these shorters with flip flop RNS’s, false dawns and more lab testing (all for good reason) but I have a feeling now that things are different. Methods are ready and discussions under way for commercialisation, if I’m right then a lot of these people are gonna get burnt as they won’t be able to buy back quick enough! I think the smart move would be to close those positions asap personally as there’s a lot of risk now involved shorting this.

It’s a funny old game, look how the MM’s have walked this down to just where they want it, they’ve processed the news and now put themselves in a position to profit massively on any potential news of commercialisation through weak sellers who have allowed this to happen. Anyone selling now is doing so at a loss which begs the question why buy in the first place?! Fact is that IF we get a contract signed now then these same sellers will not get a chance to get back in cause it will be a huge rerate! If QBT become a revenue producing company then this will snowball

Think back 3-4 years ago and what this news would have done to the SP! Unfortunately it’s a combination of ‘the boy who cried wolf’ and the markets sentiment towards speculative gains! FG now has to produce something and I’m sure he knows it

I find it truly amazing that we are now being taken into the 0.75’s! I honestly really struggle to understand this market sometimes! There’s no way anyone selling at these levels had the foresight to buy in the 0.60’s so you’d have to assume that the majority of the sells are stop losses kicking in! So the ones that mostly generate the spike, play right into the mm’s hands and create the decline while losing money, make it make sense! Something has always been off about the trading of this share

We all know method C is the potential holy grail! IF a chip maker decides to integrate this into a new build and it works……well I wouldn’t want to be out of that over the weekend

All you have to do is look at the spread to see that MM’s are cautiously covering their tails! This says to me they think it could potentially be on the verge of a massive rise! (Potentially)! Also good to know that it is a leaky ship so we should know before any news hits, look at the rise before the RNS was printed

Well the way I see it is that QBT have now put themselves firmly in the end game with that ‘business update’. No more lab testing, no more tweaks, no more race cars without steering wheels. I’m not saying anything is nailed on by a long shot but at least we know it’s either gonna fly through a confirmed deal and steady revenue stream or it’ll be bust town, there will be no in between imo! The next few months is the end game

MM’s playing their usual games with a large spread to put buyers off and hoover up any shares they can get their hands on. Once they’re done manipulating the SP, they’ll let this go

Amazing how it’s dropped to this! There has to be a lot of losers here that have had their stop losses triggered! No way everyone got in sub 0.8, well that’s what happens when you lose your bottle! You allow the mm’s to trash an SP and take your money! Truly deserved

Definitely in a consolidation phase now while mm’s mop up as many shares as they can. The SP is pretty irrelevant at the moment short term, if QBT have what they say they have then the bags will come
