Yes we had a brief flutter and a few short term traders came and went as they always do on big rises, but I don't think we'll have anything significant until mid April when we get the full year results. Then I would expect things to get very interesting. That is unless there is more news concerning Lea's appointment and the reason behind it, or Trump lifts sanctions in a hurry.

Not sure what's hit us, we normally struggle to get to 2000 shares traded per day, and here we are at lunch with 227000 traded! And all on no news, are people finally waking up to the prospects?

Well we have some share price movement today at least, in the right direction for once. However they're not going to entice much more in the way of trades with a 50% spread!

I've been mulling this over and feel there must be something in the works here..... ZOL as a company had no need to take on an additional non-exec director, they were moving on with their plans quite happily as they were. So what's the ulterior motive for this? I hope we are nicely surprised in the very near future.....

Both Nat Gas prices up almost 50% and the Rouble strengthening over 15% against the dollar from the first half of the year which are a huge boosts to ZOL's earnings. Plus Zol's output of Nat Gas up and they've taken on a new non-exec director with ties into several future options. And they let me pick up more shares at 20p! What's not to like?

Let's hope it's a happy and very prosperous New Year for all of us ZOL investors!

I think we'll have to agree that we don't see eye to eye on Obama and move on. More importantly ZOL have added a new non-exec director who's has experience of corporate financing with particular expertise in Russia. Does this mean they are looking at expansion again?

Oh I don't disagree that the US and ourselves have made some colossal mistakes in the middle east, but I can't see this situation you're describing of Obama staying in power at any cost and undermining the incoming president. Let's face it Trump will probably shoot himself in the foot sooner rather than later, he won't need help doing it.....

I'm sorry Limited but I have to disagree with you here, Obama is not a war monger. He's simply gone to Hawaii for his last Christmas vacation with the family, I know if I had the choice I'd go somewhere sunny and warm rather than stay in chilly Washington DC!

The price of Nat Gas has risen sharply, the Ruble is now over 10% stronger against the dollar and Zoltav were bringing additional gas wells online? After they surprised the market last time with better than expected results and a maiden profit, what's the effect of all of the above going to have? Yet here we sit at multi year lows, how odd. Well at least it lets me top up at these prices, so not all bad.

Well I buy a measly £1400 and they drop the bid price 2p and raise the ask 1p! So now there's a huge 9p gap, they really don't want people trading this share do they?

You couldn't make this up could you, great results and the value falls like a stone. Today £1000 traded and it wipes about 10m off the price of the company, insane. Well I'd put this on the long term hold list and I'll be adding when I can, so if they want to play silly B's with the price then carry on!

Well if the price is staying down here I'll happily top up with another 5k!

Well after a brief blip at the mention of "FY Pretax Profit Materially Ahead of Views", we're pretty much back where we started. You'd have thought this statement might have stirred up a little interest but it seems no ones biting?

Well on the plus side great to see that profit will be materially ahead of previous expectations, but I have to say I'm a little disappointed that they seem to have completely given up on expansion, the cutting of directors from 6 down to 3 seems to suggest they are happy just to settle on what they have. Any expansion into the new fields will be many years away and will require a substantial capital outlay. Any thoughts anyone?

Well let's hope some news, any news, comes up at or around the AGM on the 7th September!

Yea, have to admit tempted to top up myself, with their assets and backers the current price makes no sense to me.
