The answer is quite simple, as PI's the BoD's are our employees, therefore we all (ALL)! Need to raise the question you allude to, with our employees.
Another PI's email bombardment needs to be started at the appropriate time?
We do collectively own the company, and the BOD are our employees!
Alaska is Opportunity
“I also envision an Alaska that is energy independent and a leader in renewable energy whether that is hydro, tidal, geothermal, wind, solar, or other. I envision an Alaska where we finally get our stranded natural gas off the North Slope and into our homes and businesses, and around the world. With key permits in hand, a federal loan guarantee in place, we are closer now than ever to making this gasline a reality. I envision an Alaska where our cost of energy is no longer the second highest in the nation, but one of the lowest. That’s my vision. I hope it is yours as well. Since the 2019 fiscal year, the Alaska Energy Authority has completed projects that have replaced more than 7.6 million gallons of diesel fuel per year. We have abundant renewable resource potential, and we can turn that potential into a reality that will lower costs for all Alaskans, and invite industries to invest in our Great State as well. The Trans-Alaska Pipeline System has operated for nearly 45 years as the backbone of our economy. It has transformed Alaska into the modern state that it is. The pipeline provides energy, revenue, and jobs for our state, and it provides national security for the United States as well. I envision an Alaska that remains an oil and gas giant with a pipeline that operates for at least another 45 years to underwrite the cost of government, our renewable potential, and secure our energy independence. I envision an Alaska that is connected to the digital world through high-speed broadband that unlocks the opportunity for us to live anywhere and work from anywhere in this Great State. I envision an Alaska that is a worldwide leader in technology, in unmanned aircraft systems, and in the critical minerals needed to power the technology of today and tomorrow.”

And if Putin gets his way, ie new pipeline to Europe/ the Western market, the present pipeline will be discontinued, meaning heaven help us as to how expensive western gas bills will be.
Just my own musings or whatever, but closer to the truth that many are not willing to accept!

No one actually knows why such an overspend, we haven't been told, however collectively us PI's as owners of the company could force the issue if enough of us let the board of directors know that fact this company has/had 3 institutional investors total holding all 3, 8 million shares.
We can ask why if enough PI's ask the directors WHY!
My thought are the wire line could have actually broken, State terms and conditions means it has to be removed whatever the cost. Radio active isotopes are lowered.
Surely the Australian Governmentalthough signing the COP29 green agenda, and now stating that is to be put where the sun doesn't shine.
Then surely as stated by Australian Government funds are available for anyone wishing to drill for gas.
Let us not forget that gas is producted from oil, large volumes of gas are produced from light oil, which achieves top dollar.
el19 I've hit the recommend button!
The problem is PI's who OWN! Collectively a large share of the company.
Need to start collectively asking the BoD's questions and vote on matters that they can vote, shareholders own the company and we pay directors handsomely, to make us money, by way I of dividends, etc. Isn't that fact written in small print, in all companies rules and regulations.
Senseman has demonstrated beyond any reasonable doubt that collectively we can bring pressure to bear! But realistically we need hundreds to put pen to paper not 100 to let our employees know that we do not agree with how matters are presently progressing.
Just my own ramblings, but common sense to me.

The minus $ payment was because it was cheaper to have the tanker dock and off load rather than being paid to sit doing nothing!
A financial business decision, no more no less

I've raised questions about HL in this regard!
Your post is interesting from my perspective I do hold enough shares to stand out in any shares holding scan, have history of never selling. Obviously have Omar Sharif syndrome!
Dazzle1000 grandson carried out very much Rolex research, believes that they are moving to bring Tudor to the forefront of sales, from high street shops, and the Rolex range will be sold from Rolex owned boutique shops.
Time will tell.
Dazzle 100 my its a dead ringer, for my old constellation, which ain't a proper watch being battery powered.
I would have recommended a Omega divers that my grandson has purchased, but we are talking £4k and he questions still if it's better than the Rolex. Hotukdeals listed a few weeks ago a Omega divers £4k retail £5.4k probably none left.

Don't fall into the Rolex marketing trap. How is it possible for a company producing up to 1 million watches per year be exclusive????
Also it's not what you know but who you know to get one, well one worth owning.
42% mark up for subs, 50% + for top end.
Worn the tee-shirt paid £ 8k for up opened box for present and from retail outlet.
Rolex know full well what's going on but it suits their marketing agenda.
