Seems to me the guys are focussed now and have the bit between their teeth. More next week, maybe Monday even but it's clear the finance which has dominated the last 3 months will become an irrelevance once the forthcoming contracts start up.

OilNovice - Difference here to O&G is that people sell on news as the next drill could be months / years away and testing and all that doesn't make it a done deal. This is why that behaviour persists in O&G.

This is business services, once one contracts lands there will be a steady flow. Then it all comes down to revenue and costs.

I think Trump and his advisors know they've probably pushed things a little too far - 14 Months away from the next election and he doesn't want to be know as the President that pushed the world economy over the edge. It's starting to bite at home now and they will need to relax the tariffs soon otherwise any positive effects will not be felt before the polls.
