I sold 95% mine made another 12% since. while BP sit here doing nothing now with a low div.
to match my move BP would have to be >£520 !

ok share for lazy people and a crap div but now small growth.

agree we have had it here with the yo yo and it's SP is now 100% just on oil price which I fear will drop sooner than later.
I might buy BP back then who knows.

if it hits 465 todays my last 1000 shares are gone. you can always buy them back cheaper later :-)
but today it's not a growth share, to make 10% in 12 months now it has to be >510 and I don;t see it and 10% is low anyway, always hunting out the next 25% winner and BP imo is not a £6 share.

last lot sold (463) I put in Aviva at 368 they are 407 today. 11% up already, BP it seems are doing nothing now but follow oil and for day trading. They don;t even know what to do with the money they buy their own shares at high prices but offer a crap div on todays prices.

cannot moan 63% up on BP and 2 years of divs when the % was much better. been one of my better shares to invest and sell over 2 years if you inc the divs.

Who dare buy Tesa today they are 24 month lows !!! big money to be had but I hate the share !! and big risks

why would you go out at 90p once this starts moving you will see 150p, never sell a rising share.

Why out at 12% don't seem worth the hassle/risk, when you could make 100% or at least 50% over 24 months.

most banks and Brokers stress test people loan rates atm the stress test is at 8%
3 months ago it was 5% banks are not stupid after the last crash in 2008.

so people should all be able to afford their mortages, they will have to cut sky and such like though and not have that new car every 3 years !!!

I do feel we are topped out and only the oil price moves this SP now, hence why I sold up 95%.

SP really don't like sub 490 oil prices which for me was a concern.

lucky but BP I felt was high at 465 so was holding a lot of cash and bought the AViva big dip.

Still £20k down over all so trying to make inverting pro active over just watching

seems abetter return in % rise and divs the next 12 months imho, do your own research.

AViva is going to be a 10% div and 15% gain would be a SP of 423 which seems doable in 12 months> (it was 470)

BP gives 4.4% div and to gain 15% in 12 months would have to be 535 ish and I do feel the war would have ended in 12 months which would drop the oil price.

ATM BP is down 7p from my sell off and Aviva is up 29p since buying.

you are quoting the highest numbers for effect in 2009 it was $40 lol less than a year after your quote.
