My understanding is that Friday’s court hearing is simply to convene the case- no actions will be taken. The meeting that is important is on the 11th June. Our lawyer has said that judges in this area are fair. The court has received more than 100 separate complaints and it can irritate the judge. As you know, we have said that we intend to take action. This has not changed.
P.S:- No more emails to the court. Onwards and Upwards now.
Profit booking by short term traders who came here for a punt. Just be careful folks. Still won't like new people exposing themselves here. This is still a very risky play. Be careful with your money.
I always expected a takeover at around 8p at the lowest figure. It is the greed of this board that they decided to run it down completely. The greedy bastards just can't see anyone make a dime. The story could have been different if it was a russian/chinese company listed on london stock exchange. This is a British company under full jurisdiction of companies act 2006. The board has failed its duties considerably. Not a single exploration or drilling done since the new CEO took reigns of the company. Trice may have been a big mouth but this board just decided that they want to shut the company.
Get in touch with your stock brokers, HL, III, keep a watch out for corporate actions and remember to vote.
Please enlighten us what will happen now
FCA would have acted very swiftly had this been a financial company. The good thing is FCA is investigating here. The scams in the wider industry do not get that traction. I think we have missed something obvious, not writing to OGA and Scottish ministers. Also, to the judiciary emails.

Also continue writing to FCA contacts as previously provided.
Anne37 , good posts. Is there a way FCA MIU can postpone this hearing?
HBR? Any links?
Yes, I will possibly take back that statement. Many people do get influenced. The only reason I have stayed on here is I have no exit now. I have to stay on for the end game. I will certainly not stop people who want to exit as 0.7 is better than 0.1 but for me the loss is just extreme in either circumstances.
I do not see anyone ramping here. I am not selling my shares because of my own assumptions. No one here buys or sells based on advise from BB. Yes, people can exchange information. All your information is based on what the current BoD has provided the market. The same board being investigated by FCA's market investigation unit. The same BoD who is not trusted by major shareholders. The current board has run this down and it is clear if they have their way it is heading to naught. That is what we are trying to oust. A end game report based on much less average oil price. If you consider average oil price at $70, there is no doom scenario with average well production at 11000( Currently 11,600)
A forward work plan which never appeared. A restructuring plan which came right after CA increased their stake.
I have asked that question in my previous email. I will try it again.
Thank you for all those who sent me their messages. The key person is working with the solicitor and as soon as things get finalised, i will connect you with each other. That class action will take time and it will be a long fight.
Meanwhile I have continued to write to Richard at Crystal Amber and the reply i received is below:-
'' I would say that officially we are only able to comment via a regulatory news service announcement. In that regard, we have previously said that we have no confidence in the board. The situation is highly uncertain but whilst there is life, there’s hope. Where there is a will, there’s a way.
3 RNS in a week and the board is not desperate? The FCA Market investigation unit and big shareholders are all after the BOD. The threat of controlled wind down, the shout of shorter on this board , all of whom are giving their precious time wanting every person to jump off the ship. I don't know about others and I will respect their decision to jump but i will certainly love to go down here and see the company wound.
I will try my luck. But please guys write to FCA Market integrity unit with all your views. We need to keep writing. If we all write 10 emails, there will be one person out there willing to listen.
Please keep writing folks. If Anne is correct and John Glen is involved, this means our voices can cause considerable impact.
So write to:-

Thanks to the person ( name hidden here) who has initiated the class action legal proceedings against the company. Please write to me if you want to join the legal proceedings on a no win no fee basis based on 2017 CPR.
For solicitors to proceed there needs to be a business case requiring :
1) A case Hurricane knowingly mislead investors
2) Sufficient investors with losses willing to claim
We certainly tick no 2. I will create a distribution list once i have enough investors along with the kind person who has initiated this.
Hi Rosie, this was the reply i received from Richard Bernstein. The email address is rb@crystalamber.com
''Regarding an EGM, even if we had written to Hurricane Energy calling for this on 30 April, the timelines before the meeting could take place would mean that by the time a vote would be taken, bondholders would hold 95% of the shares and the votes. As I wrote on Tuesday, planning is essential. You should not draw any conclusion from the fact that you have not yet seen us announce a legal challenge. There are several areas that we are currently investigating. We have to be thorough and ensure that if we are able to restore shareholder value, it is done in the best possible way.
We are unable to give any guarantees other than that if it is possible to recover value, we will.''
Please send in details to me at retiredfella2021@gmail.com
I will keep connecting each one of you or with the details.
