North River has, with the financial support of Kalahari, submitted an indicative bid on a significant gold deposit in Namibia - emphasising the strength of North River in conjunction with Kalahari, in its ability to move quickly on opportunities with the necessary financial and technical support available. The tie up with NRRP seems on the face of it to be a pretty good deal with plenty of synergies between the two companies . KAH so far spent £8million on their project and receiving £16.6million in NRRP shares which looks quite fair as NRRP will also be acquiring some excellent people to work with in Mark Hohen et al. This also drives value in the, at present other KAH projects which the market apportion zero value. NRRP will with Kah acquire better quality projects and it also now gives us something other than just EXT rns's to look out for , with an update on NRRP project expected in Jan '10 things already look interesting. I can just imagine that Dettals will be looking at this with interest now too, what with there being coal and Uranium interests involved.

In July North River agreed to acquire OMS's Mozambique Gold and Uranium Projects which comprise 32 licences covering 628,400 Ha in five project areas, details as follows: 1.Castro Project - 3 Licences, 54,580 Ha, located 30km north west of Tete. Targets, uranium, gold, coal. The Castro Project area contains a number of historic uranium workings and the significant Inatobue radiometric target developed by Omegacorp in 2006. Inatobue is the biggest radiometric anomaly in the area and is located adjacent to the previously producing Castro mine. The Boa Viseau gold anomaly is located in the Castro Project area. Soil sampling completed by OMS defined a continuous pattern over 2,400 metres including peak values of 2,090 ppm Au, 1,915ppm Au and 1,810 ppm Au. The Rio Mafu coal prospect contains three Lignitic to Sub-Bitumous coal units. Total tonnage potential is thought to be under 20Mt. 2.Mucumbura Project - 2 Licences, 27,560 Ha, located 300 km due west of Tete. Targets, uranium 3.Murrupula Project - 3 Licences, 61,280 Ha, located 600 km due east of Tete. Targets, uranium, precious and base metals. 4.Niassa Project - 21 Licences, 424,060 Ha, located northen Mozambique to the east of lake Malawi. Targets, uranium, gold, base metals. 5.Zumbu Project - 3 Licences, 60,920 Ha, located 350 km due west of Tete. Targets uranium, coal and precious metals. Sounds really quite familiar in that all projects have a Uranium aspect to them.

What the hell happened today. I've been monitoring these with a view to getting in and the volumes have been really small, then today Kapow!!! Massive trades.......Very very interesting for Monday. Surely RNS due. Anyone have any ideas, any news from Germany ?

Yeah. first in @ 38.99p then 42p then 72p then 116p and most recently again @ 158p. I've retained all my holdings and will continue to do so as I expect further rises based on fundamentals, reource upgrades and T/O

Worth looking at PRL , similarly like KAH they own part of Extract 10% but they also have around 50 or so liscenes in Mongolia both coal and Uranium as well as a large stake in CDN which is in t/o talks at the moment and furthermore they have some very exciting stakes in A-cap, West Australian, Berckley, Uranex and others which are all early stage uranium plays very similar to Extract 18 months ago, there is a great deal of excitement and anticipation over West Australian in many quarters. Another tip worth looking at is PDF , you might need to be quick though as they are just in the process of turning from a diamond explorer to a producer with news imminent . Energy Metals the Australian uranium explorer/miner has just accepted a takeover offer from CGNPC China Guandong Nuclear Power co. It would seem that the power play between China, Japan, S Korea, Russia, India and many other countries realising the importance of securing U308 for their new generation nuclear power stations is upon us. This could well give Rio and indeed other countries the giddy-up they need to secure Extract before someone else does. IMHO

Kah up 5.26% at the moment. New shares are due to hit market today/tomorrow. It doesn't seem to be having the usual adverse affect. Quite the opposite in fact !!!

Ordinarily the share dilution would be a bad thing , but in this case it doesn't concern me unduly in that the monies raised are being used to push Rossing South hard forward which will; I have no doubt; drive the sp ever upwards upon incresed reources updates. Also the new shares were snaffled up without a second breath by the institutions, even given that they were at a mere fraction of a discount to the sp at the time. I belive that Extract driven on in no small part by KAH are doing absolutly the right thing in raising these funds to push up their resource quantities as quickly as they can before the inevitable T/O offer comes in, hence proving the potential of Rossing South and achieving maximum value for shareholders. IMHO

Confirmation of quality of zone 3 with the distinct possibility of additional Salem zone and the continued affirmation of the ultra high grades coming out of zone 1 and zone 2 still , coupled with new high of EXT and the very favourable exchange rate Aus $ to GB£ means that KAH should push well on past £2 and with more RC diamond rigs and core rigs coming on site over the coming days the updated drilling results due in four weeks time, this should surely place the sp somewhere in orbit. IMHO

I'm a long term holder here, and have done very well off the back of Uranium, which is why I also wanted to get in early on a piece of the WME action. What I did though was buy heavily into PRL as they have a significant stake in WME and also A-cap ,Extract, Berkley and CDN as well as a number of other significantly placed prospects. Just my view ! but worth a look at the Polo Resources site to view there portfolio of prospects. So as not to deviate too much from the KAH board, I still belive that Kah is a strong buy as there is excited talk by Mark Hohnen of a further Zone 3 at Rossing South , giving an expected resource in excess of 500 million lbs including Ida Dome

from today ....The power struggle over Extract Resources has claimed its biggest scalp yet, with managing director Peter McIntyre to step down from the board of the uranium hopeful he helped build into a $1.5 billion market darling. Mr McIntyre was yesterday quick to describe his reasons for leaving as “personal” but the move is widely understood to be a direct response to attempts from major shareholder Kalahari Minerals to unseat him. Separately, a decision on whether the company’s other major shareholders, Rio Tinto and Polo Resources, will be granted board seats is expected within days, as Extract’s board struggles to resolve the corporate machinations that have dogged it for the past nine months. It was last night unclear if Kalahari boss Mark Hohnen will replace Mr McIntyre or if the company will seek an independent candidate.
