My take on takeovers is that he will want the SP to get beyond that, which is, not coincidentally, the minimum price for Nasdaq entry. I would think Thermo Fisher will be all over this in due course, but they will need to pay a decent premium on the £4, perhaps 100%. Where would everyone else be prepared to sell? I have a 45 average (thanks to Jupiter) so in the back of my mind I would sell a few at £4.50....

Sangi - apologies if I came across like that (posters on here will testify to my generally level-headed approach). What I meant was: that buying when there is distressed selling going on is a no-brainer, as once it ends the share floats over a relatively short time back to where it was. I am NOT saying that Angle's move up from here is 'easy money' - far from it, some of us have been here (at much higher prices) for many years.

Parsortix would work for me - it has a more specific, scientific quality than Angle that I feel Nasdaq would go crazy for.

we are definitely being noticed Sheep - the private launch later this year will attract takeover bids I'm certain (likely 'in house') - for now it's just a question of how long the big boys dare keep their sticky little fingers off the buy button....

exactly my feelings RPS - the price is behaving abnormally, which indicates some controlled selling behind the scenes. It happened likewise with ANGLE, allowing me to invest half a house sale in shares at 39p only two weeks ago. Now the seller has left it has moved back to 50p (and will be 60p soon, and over £1 in the summer - sorry for the plug). Easy money.

I think we already have the news we need strictly - that this will be worth many multiples of the current sp later this year...

Garry, that's nonsense and you know it. ("no significant economic benefit to the SP"). It has done just that today. Tesla operates on hype-fumes, and it can now raise billions for research, hardly diluting the share in the process. As the only GEM on AIM, investors will flock to it like pesticide-free moths.....

wilko, it's more that it brings Eden to the attention of the investing community, especially those with eco-leanings. You have to remember that holding shares is not purely about the bottom line - just look at Tesla if you need confirmation!

serious MM shenanigans this morning - with a supposed 45-46 spread I could sell for 45.8 but when I put in an Neg order, it completed at 47.1....
good to see them getting that desperate to shake out shares I suppose...
