If i get the silent treatment from AFC I shall keep you posted and you may all draw your own conclusions on that one. "No answer came the stern reply" "Youll get no help from me" (from a poem)
anyway enough of this grim stuff. Ill prenetd its all going swimmingly for a week or two as we move into the fable land of milk and honey aka 2023. Happy new year folks. Fingers crossed.

By the way, I would like to stir up some trouble, sometimes it is necessary. We need get the BOD performing (or properly motivated to perform) or we need create enough shareholder/investor pressure to have them replaced. Leaving it like this is not helping anyone except Bond and possibly other executives who may feel the same way but don't wish to speak up.
Interestingly, I found exactly what I required on the first page of Google but that was AFC fottball club. (LOL). Nothing for AFC Energy that I could locate Im surprised to say. So I emailed them with my list of polite and specific questions. Let's see what comes back, if anything comes back and by when? Meantime Heath keep ducking and playing dim - you wear it well. As for me I would like to understand some facts about this rather disappointing company rather than defend consistent underperformance - but that's just me!
Joehigashi Never fear mate all this will be some dodgy conspiracy behind the scenes, market manipulation by a cabal of large institutional investors targetting just AFC and all this combined with shareholders being negative online so they can pick up this fabulous stock at hugely undervalued prices and thus get really, really rich (what unimaginable scum they must be) - nothing to do with anything simple like incompetence! Of course there is a MASSIVE deal "just around the corner" but keep it under your belt because noone's allowed to know, company confidentiality and all that. Break out the champagne 2023 is OUR year yippeee!!!! Oh im getting deja vu - I wonder why????"?
Maybe someone knows the answer to this????? If AFC board ditrectors decide and continue to decide on Bond's remuneration and compensations on what basis do they feel he is worth this money? Clearly AFC has consistently and wildly unperformed on sales, margins, volume production, meaninigful commercial/ technical milestones and any other metrics likley to attraxt the market. Also Bond is not a big name so his prevous reputation offers no real justification. How objective are the BOD likely to be what packages, dependencies and pressures are they working to? If there's a compensation comittee who exactly is on it and how independenet are they? Any sensible answers rather than waffle, attack or hyperbole would be most welcome. I don't like financially supporting failure followed by silence.
Back on topic then.... SP, net profit before tax, volumes, committed contracts, versus Bonds pay out in salary and bonuses over the last few years. Fat cats literally or metaphorically makes no difference. And if it all goes down the tubes, he probably walks away Scot free. Probably into a consultant, public speaker non exec role or two. Question is: how long can he keep on milking this until someone says “enough”.
If you want to know how much fatter Manwaring Bonds wallet has gotten courtesy of AFC over the last few years and you don’t want to look it up you can always ask Offal Mc windbag - he has All the numbers and projections at his disposal when it suits him. If you want to know what AFC is worth that too is freely available. Let me shoot one metric at you at you ... 18.40.
On that basis I think the company needs to review its leadership, assuming of course these guys arent all noses in the trough together. Difficult to tell really.
What’s really tedious is the endless nothingness and lack of meaningful news and non achievement leading to stasis with the SP followed by endless justifications. Oh yes, and watching Captain Manwaring Bond get fatter and fatter in his wallet.
This is a tough one! Clearly AFC has underperformed in (or failed to set) any targets that are likely to enhance the SP. the only area it has performed is in consistently, financially rewarding Adam Bond. Certainly, by looking at recent images, he is managing to feed himself extremely well, one might even say to excess???? The big question is when to sell out and when to hang on on the basis of promises, vague anodyn corporate speak And of course ramping , apologists and justifiers in the face of ongoing failure. Ho hum!
Wouldn't that be nice! I tend to use the adage: "If there is doubt there is no doubt." i.e. if someone is being vague or obfuscating about their accomplishments (there is doubt) then there is no doubt because that means they aren't actually doing it or achieving it, but are hoping people will "read between the lines" and assume they are.
One has to hope though that AFC are involved in highly sensitive negotiations for a huge manufcaturing deal worth millions and they are bound by NDAs etc not to say anything. There will be those out there keen to promote that line of thinking and speculation and to shoot down anyone who says otherwise (no names). But I think it's just best to make a decision at what price you will buy at and what price you will sell at. Like you I hope for the best and im not selling at these prices. Good luck all.
At the end of the day, anyone can say anything about AFC they like including well researched news, statistics and also hype (they frequently do) but it's the SP that matters ultimately. If anyone is daft enough to buy or sell on the say so of rampers or derampers then they need their head examining. If anyone believes the SP of AFC energy will be significantly affected by what someone on LSE says then again, they need their head examining. But yes, its tedious. On the other hand... what then is this discussion board for? Lonely batchelor/divorcee, hungry for recognition and a job. LOL
Cant believe people are investing and asked that question!!! so here goes...
When you buy stock in a company you buy a percentage of that company and its total value. If the value of the company goes up then so do your shares and vice versa. Short term a company's value may increase due to news or sentiment which triggers buys. Things like Roman Abramovich suddenly buying stock or fuel cells or clean energy legislation suddenly being in the news. BUT...unless that is followed by sales then it will drop back, after all what are you investing? So as the other folks said we need SALES ...or rather profitable sales.
Agreed FantasticDave, the allure of AFC is that it is a potentially game changing technology - it's sexy and in a market that SEEMS both ripe and hungry for it. This has created an emotional attachment and tempted investors (myself included) into believing that this will "suddenly explode". It has a heroic feel to it. We are not manufacturing baked beans after all! Global events will of course affect matters and it provides a rational excuse for AFCs lack of commercial progress which many, myself included, would love to reassure ourselves with.
I've had to discipline myself (about 5 years ago) and since then have made some decent money out of this stock.
A while ago I shared that I'll never buy over 20p and never sell under 80p; sub 20p being a figure that AFC always seems to bounce back from and 80p being an upper figure it continually struggles to stay north of for more than a few days, its a pattern. I was mocked by one of the "devoted" However, this tactic seems to have worked in my favour and I've given up worrying about the: "What about when we go commercial and it goes into £££££s?" Argument.
At the moment I have to assume it will not "suddenly land a massive contract" and SP fluctuations around sentiment, large investor buys and sells and global drivers will push it up and down and so I keep topped up and take profit along the way and if it does "go big" I have enough stock to make some extra money.
Not exciting but sound.
Good luck everyone.
Good to know. SO, when exactly will AFC be in the £s as you put it and How many £s are we talking here? Just want to know as I don’t believe your sp predictions have been accurate so far despite your highly detailed research.
