My own opinion on your first point is that this was the plan for a while ,deals like that between so many party's takes a while to be agreed and lets face it the Singapore lot only did the deal last week.So i find it hard to believe this wasn't always in the pipeline .Why thats the case and what benefit I havent a clue but thats just my opinion.
As for Akers that one is pretty easy to explain. Chris has been fantastic for all of us but even he admits financially the Dr and his investment house is on a completely different level. Chris owns a lot of stock and by letting the DR in he is safeguarding that potential with the stock he owns already..Giving himself a free carry on his option stock as well.
The avenues and opportunity's this new company opens is not to be undervalued, they are also long term players not flippers. Both Chris's know this is the ideal way to progress this company..
Morning Guys..I'm really surprised at that comment..Lets look at the facts. This guy is a billionaire even dwarfing Akers money who will end up owning 20% of the company when the warrants are excercised which they will be. Chris has taken his options at 8p sold half of them straight away to this guy giving him 22m plus on a free and a few quid left over.So he has a more than he had yesterday.Chris J has given him a pittance at 25p to show his commitment to the new money.
The billionaire has just done something similar over at AAA and then started buying on open market. He will no doubt do the same here to take the price were he wants to excercise his warrants at 30p.. He's not done this without knowing whats coming here he will have seen a lot more than we have..He also hasn't invested this level of commitment to turn 5% or 10% either. He will be here for eventual takeover..
So mixed feelings oh no..this is absolutely brilliant news for those of us who will still own a chunk of Dev in 3 or 4 months...
It was a sell guys but there was a buyer who took them straight off the book..Theres some big buyers in the background trying to work a position
On today you cant argue with that can you..premium raise again and that's rare right now..DEV have set the base now..Now it's time to update us on what it's for and put the meat on the bone..I dont think we will be waiting long..Feb will be huge ??
You are simply trying to pick an argument that isn't there. I countered your first post which was full of hear say and contained no facts whatsoever with actual research and statements in the public domain that shot down your theory that Akers doesn't research and just plays stocks as his visit and meeting with Nisa proved.
I was asked in my second post for specific figures on revenue and sp which my posting history proves i never speculate on in actual figures. However i gave my opinion that i think they will be really good going forward and that will reflect in the sp.Thats my own personal opinion and research which i put many hours into and yes that includes talking to people to including the company. You dont need to take a blind bit of notice of it and no disrespect i don't care if you do or not,but to call my post ludicrous after your first one is beyond the pale.
I will however agree with you on the prospectus,we all need to see that and that will help everybody in seeing where this is going.DEV cant just put out a prospectus that hasn't been checked by the regulatory body based on the evidence they give them.Again whether that has any immiediate reflection on the sp is irrelevent to me because i'm a long term investor
I'm not going to comment further on Alan and RJ because how they conduct business is there own private domain other than the fact i converse with both of them and in all that time neither have lied, manipulated or done anything to indicate they cant be trusted 100% and both work constantly on DEV's and shareholders behalf attracting investors and selling the story of Dev to people who again are not looking for a short term trade, much more than you can begin to imagine tbh.
Now i'm going to leave it there and wish you all a lovely weekend
If you check my posting history mate you will see i dont make guesses on things like that.I prefer to concentrate my research on what i do know rather than guessing on what i dont.
However my belief is that revenue is going to take off massively and that will do the same for the sp,especially if you compare the revenue to sp sp ratio of other edtech companies. it's also my belief that at some point soon months)DEV is going to be taken out by a big tech company wanting a foothold in this market but thats just my opion.
Bottmzup thats a very easy thing to say but the more you look at it the more your post has more holes than a Swiss cheese.
Firstly on RJ, I've conversed with him many times and i can assure you his research and knowledge of Dev is second to none as his his belief in the long term future of Dev. Now i dont know how wether he and his family have 25m shares or not,nor do i care, but he is not a trader he is a long term investor.
Then we move on to Mr Akers, now again there is plenty i can say to shoot down your argument about the level of research he does and his holding but I will just stick to whats in the public domain. Firstly on his holding last time i looked the only TR1'S I see are him adding stock. Dev has been quite a illiquid stock, you dont hold that many if he didn't too believe in the long term future of Dev, he would never get rid of the amount he has if he didn't. As for his research and actual involvment in the company i will quote you one tweet he made in reply to a question last week.
"I met with Nisa president and he is making Dev's career guidance a key initiative for all it's member schools, remember it's a B2B and a B2C model. The 70,000 NISA Schools and 13m students is a larger market than all the schools in US,Canada and UK combined"
Now you dont fly half way round the world nor get a meeting with Dr Sharma if you are not heavily researched and personaly involved with helping Dev achieve these types of contracts, so your claim that these guys just take a position and play it is threadbare to say the least.
At the end of the day i've been here a long time as most longtermers on this board know and my investment is heavy. My level of research is pretty extensive as is my network and it's things like the above that I base my consideration on rather accusations plucked out the air with no substance or Sunseeker and his alias rather pathetic and juvenile actions that we saw yesterday..
My belief is this stock is going to be big and i'm not interested in prices like today even though i'm 4 bags high and frankly neither are they and we should be thankful that the guys you mentioned are all working hard and supporting the Stock as they are rather than making baseless accusations which hold no merit..
Ifonlyiknew never belittle anybody trying their best to make money to improve their lot in life, wether that be with £10 or £5m..it makes you look a bit sad..
Alan Duff has taken that seller out this morning it was one guy..cleared him out now.
it's been n/t to buy £50 for the last 10 minutes..if everybody holds firm and dont give them them stock they will have no choice but to push this higher..
tbh it annoys the hell out of me and tells us all that the regulators have no interest in making sure the market plays with a straight bat..Looking at the width of the spread 25-30% of the trades could be one way or another.
In this day and age of technology there is available there is no reason why they cant print trades with a accurate buy or sell
All fair points bottmzup however with all due respect i dont think thats the whole story, whilst it certainly contributed you cant get past it's been the 4 or 5 main holders here who have all aggressively been buying this .As Alan Duff says 85% of this stock is in long term hands after this weeks buying. That doesn't leave much for the traders to fight over..They have been waiting and predicting 15p from over a month ago regardless of how the chart looked. IMO they were always going to push the button together and move it forward. The timing of when it happened was more down to there timing than the chart..All a game of opinions though mate.
My opinion on charts depends on how you trade..If you day trade in short term positions, charting alongside level 2 can give you that that added few percent advantage..However if you have other commitments and cant sit in front of a trading screen 8hrs a day it's less important..Especially if you a investor not a trader like me..
Early Happy new year to you all guys. It's nice to comment on this board without having to defend this stock and list it's potential in the face of various naysayers over the last year, most of which are long gone.. As i've stated before i've never been concerned on the sp as i've always believed when the stars aligned that would take care of itself.IMO what we are seeing now is only the start, the potential figures on the Indian deal alone are crazy even with the mcap we have at the moment.. This has a very long way to go and the fact that our main shareholders are happily adding at these levels tells us where this could go.. Yes there might be the odd pullback, afterall stocks dont rise everyday but that wont tempt me to sell any..This is just to big a opportunity to lay waste and those of us who have seen this through have done the hard work now.
I've told you that.. Just because you dont like the answer doesnt mean you can just ask the same question repeatively.. You can hold on for 7p all you want you wont get it
The fact that dsc1978 has said he wants a pull back to 7 or 8p tells me why he keeps posting negative posts about DEV. Sunsetsupper did exactly the same thing going from being negative to positive when he got his buy in price. That said I appreciate all the peoples point of view on not knowing the figures and can understand the caution. However DEV have been in no position to give any kind of figures while they have been negotiating and renegotiating the funding with ASLR which will include the prospectus.. Now that prospectus will no no doubt include anticipated revenue figures for this tear and future years which will answer all your questions or point you in the right direction. Yes that's been delayed while negotiations went on and ASLR secured the funding which they have done, and as per the rns they are looking at completing the whole lot earlier than originally agreed..That alone should be taken as a huge positive. I'm sure the prospectus will be with us shortly in the new year.. If it doesn't include that information i will be moaning about that myself.. However there is absolutely no point moaning about it till we've got it.. Now our major shareholders are happily buying the available stock and between them have worked tirelessly over the last few months to take out the big seller by buying tens of millions to clear him out. With DEV being a relative illiquid stock that can go n/t both ways on sharp movement they wouldn't be sat holding the quantity's they have unless they were 100% confident going forward, nor for that matter would i be holding well over 2m myself.
We've just signed a big deal which people believe will be a game changer, secured funding to rule out any kind of placing danger, cleared out the big seller and are sat just under 10p.. From where i'm sat I don't really see what anybody has got to moan about..
You've had plenty of opportunities to do that over the last 3 months..Time to leave that behind now
It's a worked buy they have been filling most of the day.
Looking forward to a good day tomorrow guys..
The last rns clearly states the prospectus would be extended to 30th November as they wanted to negotiate the possible early take up of there investment from the original dates. The rns about the heads of agreement also clearly states the timeframe with the aim to formalise the partnerships in India..Thats where we are at if you read it, so crying that you need info right now is a bit pointless..They did not extend it because it was in doubt which would be a worry, they extended it because they wanted to advance it because they probably know what's coming..
As always you are either a investor or a trader. If you are a investor you have nothing to be worried about imo, this will play out very nicely over the next few months. The big shareholders are still happy to hoover these up on a daily basis and when the prospectus does come i believe it's going to surprise a few but thats my opinion..If your a trader after a in and out over a couple of weeks for a few %, so are moaning that it's not yet happened thats your own problem which I for one dont really care about...
The whole market is getting smashed today...It's a switch off day
