This excellent work by Jo and the GLP team*. I've passed details of a few contracts to them to take a look at.

This action has the potential to change government procurement behaviour - which can only work in the favour of the more established, and credible, firms - such as ODX and the others involved in the UK-RTC.

Some of the 10%ers might, given the merger RNS. They'll think making a quick 10-17p per share (depending on what happens with 4D shares when the market opens this morning ) will be worth it.

And in so doing, they'll potentially miss the opportunity that ODX offers. It's the usual short-sighted 10%er behaviour - but it's their money...

I think it's worth pointing out that this has been flagged a number of times (it's a mix of Pillar 1 and Pillar 4 testing) and is likely to be what part of the call-off Contract capacity will be used for. At present they're in the volunteer cohort recruitment stage - roll out will be in the next few weeks.

Real kick off will be when it is rolled out across all health and social care staff, which is likely to happen early in the New Year (unless circumstances force an earlier roll out). Then we're talking about 2.5 million tests on a fairly regular basis.

And then there's the application to the wider economy...

N4P's one of my 'pocket change' investments... I think it has some long term potential but I never invest what I can't easily afford to lose.

BRH is another of my educated gambles. I've done quite well on it to date and even sold some off to purchase some additional ODX. I'll probably sell of a few more and but some RMS for the fun of it.

If he want 250k Vistect Triple Antibody Tests then contact ODX. If he wants 250k AbC19 tests, then he'll have to contact CIGA.

That said, I can't see why anyone on these boards would want 250k professional POC tests...

You are correct Ton1c. Screen4 are selling the Visitect Triple Antibody test - not the AbC19 test, which is what CIGA is involved with.

Thanks - that was my understanding (I'm another person dealing with DHSC/NHS procurements and tenders for my sins).

I think what you're saying is that it's what has been referred to as a 'call off contract'.

The Visitest tests are CE marked for professional POC use. They do not require further MHRA approval. That would only be required if they were produced for self-test use.

I think it's worth noting that the CD4 tests are also aimed primarily at low to middle income countries, via IGOs and NGOs, and are priced accordingly.

I think you're confusing the various tests...

The Visitect tests are ODX's own test. They get the full selling price (subject to a royalty payment to Mologic). Tax, Capex, etc. would be the same as for any of their other tests.

Not sure your maths is correct. They talk about 'nearly £500' for the box and there's 25 test per box, so closer to £20 per test.

Dante are an Italian company and therefore subject to the EU rules on medical devices, including the regulations on portability across borders.

At present, their Covid test is not be sold as self-test but as lab-based PCR, albeit that the sample is collected at home. That's what the contract specifically refers to.

That's subject to slightly different regulation than the self-test at home UK-RTC are looking at.

Same here, except my exception is N4P which is up 13%...

That said, my portfolio is still up 67.5% so I can't grumble.
