Will check it out. Could do with a holiday. Still holding but not in a big way. I think these have more potential but they have disappointed up to now, Good deal on bugoil but there sales are low and they burn cash badly. Looking forward to better half year. Only one way for me is up but they need to start moving before I jump in for more. One more thing concerns me is that the Directors never buy in - even when they were down at 8p not so long ago. As Maba said, they prefer to wait until they vote themselves more for free.
I hold PHC and PIM and have been watching this for a while. Any reason why I shouldn't jump on now?
Where in Africa? I always fancied RSA as I have relatives there. You are probably right, they do have the technology, but Marks says on his website that the is starting another venture. I would bet thats why he was dismissed??
Should I be worried about the blip? Not sure I like the bit in the statement about 'we will overcome all our difficulties'
Not much info given out from either side. Check out the RNS from 25th June. Marks has his own website: www.davidjmarks.info Can't say I have much faith in our politicians right now they seem more interested in their own affairs. Maybe they think they can get some free fertilisers for their gardens now they can't claim on expenses?
Just listened to that interview. Painful I agree!! I'ts old news btw, exactly the same interview from 6 months ago.
Good Luck. Clearly a lot of potential here. I was in and out of this, took some good profit on the back of the rise after the bugoil announcement. If it follows in the same way, this might go down before it goes up again. On the downside, they lost a founder director recently in acrimonious circumstances. I'll bide my time until I see some numbers!!
They have much higher sales forecast and cash coming in from milestone payments on the back of the bugoiil deal. They have also the prospect of other deals with their other products. I expect this will move after an announcement (promised by Q4). Might move more after interims in September though?
Not good I agree. Shouldn't think this will move much until the interims though? They had record Q1 sales so should be some good news. Hybridan forecast £3.6 million (2008: £800k). More deals like the one announced in June are due before Q4 too. SP low enough now on this basis?
Probably because they have just raised £1.4m at 30p, sp was likely to settle back to this figure. prob. rise again on next good news announcement
Don't suppose it matters much in the scheme of things, doesn't seem to be affecting the sp too much fortunately!!
most of the activity is on PLUS markets
Check out his website, looks like he invented all their technologies and patents http://www.davidjmarks.info/
What's the difference between 'deemed to have resigned from' and 'is no longer a director of'?
Hopefully it will go back as quickly as it came down. Better listening to the CEO instead of your 'source'!!
Maybe it depends on 2 things? If your source is correct and they have to raise money, then B is getting less likely by the day! On the other hand, the CEO seems confident that they don't need the money any way. Think I will sit tight and hope they announce something really positive v. soon.
Peter Blezard, CEO said in an interview yesterday: 'Cash at the end of March had dipped to £0.76m from £2.98m but thanks to its licensing deal with Arysta, which included the agreement of a three-year £0.75m loan at LIBOR plus 3% ‘we don’t have to raise cash if we don’t want to,’ Blezard asserted. Will check out their prelims and see whats what.
Someone on advfn reckons they might have to raise money. their ceo says they don't so not sure about that.
I was in at 12 and out at 42 (can't be too greedy!). Kept a few though and didn't really expect this.
on a more serious note, why the slide this morning?
