I have to say, thin pickings on this RNS. Cutting out the deadwood is a positive step but isn't going to to set the SP on fire. It's nice to see that Vane have so many drilling rigs in operation. Two on U3O8 targets plus the drilling rigs at Yuma King.

Having decided that speculator panic-selling had now abated, utilities came back into the market last week to pick up cheaper supplies. As industry consultant TradeTech notes, the utilities were also accompanied by uranium traders and speculators getting back in. Seven transactions were reported totalling 900,000lbs of U3O8 equivalent. As the week progressed, settlement prices ticked upward. TradeTech has thus moved up its spot price indicator by US$1.25 to US$56.25/lb. There were no new transactions or orders reported in the term market last week albeit TradeTech notes there remain several orders in the pipeline seeking sellers. The consultant's mid-term price indicator remains at US$59/lb and long-term at US$68/lb. Impacting on uranium price sentiment at present is the plight of Energy Resources of Australia's (ERA) globally significant Ranger mine. Production has ceased due to flooding and will remain that way for at least some months. The company has announced additional capex for water abatement measures but the fate of the mine is as yet unclear. Just thought I would re-iterate the quality of U3O8 at Wate pipe. I've just picked this up from a company called Mesa Exploration, these are their 'highlights': Highlights from drill hole L-15 are: 3.5 feet of 0.28% U3O8 (5.6 pounds/ton) 1.0 foot of 0.16% U3O8 (3.2 pounds/ton) 1.5 feet of 0.13% U3O8 (2.6 pounds/ton) Strong mineralization between these three higher-grade intercepts resulted in an overall mineralized interval of 17.5 feet grading 0.11% U3O8 (2.2 pounds/ton). Compare that with the new inferred resource at Wate pipe: The Inferred Resource is now 1.123M lbs eU3O8 contained in 80,000 tons with an average grade of 0.70% eU3O8, an increase of 26%.

TER: So far this year, the long-term price for uranium is up about 11%. When you talked to The Energy Report in October 2010, you said you expected some price pressure in uranium in 2012 and 2013. Has that outlook changed? GM: No, that’s an area that is still very much in play. Those are very large drivers. We expect to see a number of reactors remain offline in Japan, but the pricing pressure is still there. The supply/demand scenario is largely the same. We’ve lost some demand on the short end of the curve, but we also lost some production. We probably will lose a little expected future supply from the advanced exploration-stage companies that we thought might go into production after 2013. I think there may be project development delays now due to greater regulatory oversight in response to the events in Japan. Because it makes lots of sense to leave your money rotting in a share in which you don't believe. Your argument isn't even logically consistant. If your other posts mirror the quality of your investments then you obviously don't make very wise choices. Maybe you should give it up and use a savings account instead.

If it's such a dismal share, why don't you sell out and invest your money somewhere else? I've read through your post history and it's pretty much all negative on every share on which you comment. You then question other people's level of investment without the slightest shred of evidence. Why should anyone 'strike back with anything tangible'? We've done our research and are happy to hold. The research has been posted here. You are most definitely a deramper looking for an argument. Why else would you slam a share in which you claim to have a large holding?

If you don't like it you don't have to come here and post. Do us all a favour and find another share

It's overdue this share has been snoozing for a while. Just enough time time for another top up ;) Let's see if this one shows up in the trades (the last one didn't)

Hi Whitt I don't think you could get a better buy in price than it currently is. There are already strong historical indications that there is copper at Yuma King so it should just be a case of confirming and proceeding with the JORC. Increased JORC at Wate pipe to 1.2 million lbs of uranium. New gold and silver figures expected any day. But as ever DYOR.
