I think your are suffering from confirmation bias. I see Ocams Razor applying here. The management have an over developed sense of their own gifts, probably coming from Joe and Jethro and assumed that because 'they don't sit on their hands' any money spent by them must be good money spent. I sent a mail to IR and have not even had the courtesy of a reply.

I hope the good kicking the SP has received over the last days will be a wake up call that spending shareholders money on whacky ideas will hurt their own personal wealth.

LUC were consistently paying dives until relatively recently (now retaining for CAPEX) whereas GEMD have not. As someone mentioned the money seems to vanish.

It will take a statement of commitment to divis or some other form of shareholder return to get GMD on the radar of II's. I do wonder why the large shareholders suffer this. Sustainable capital and Aberforth are both in here in the mid 80s. You would think they would be agitating strongly for this. All of that said one mention of it and I'm sure the SP will take off.

The loan must come from the current cash, there is nowhere else it can come from. Therefore if ECO say they remain fully funded they must expect either revenue from the sale of assets (farm in) or be fully funded but for less drills than previously expected.

Whatever, the way this has been communicated by ECO is sh*t, hence people bailing and market cap dropping by the equivalent of the loan amount in a day!

Staggered re-trace. Looks like the only people interested in this share are posters here. Lack of volume given what we think will be the cash position is either market mis-pricing or Mr market thinks this bod = not with a barge pole. I hope of course for the former...

Lets face it. This is no longer a plc. Its being managed like a private company, no RNS, no updates. Shocking really. Does anyone know how long they share can resuspended for before it gets de-listed? FCA will no doubt be looking after it lol.

Sustainable Capital and Aberforth average buy in price is in the mid 80's, so I would have thought any buy out is going to have to be at this level as a minimum or higher. Given current SP level no-one is going to bid at that kind of number. If the SP gets to around 60p then it might be more likely but any bidder more likely is going to be another miner but then with current market conditions I don't see this happening anytime soon. The majors already have all the stock they need.

If I were the Chairman of this outfit I'd be pressuring the management team to increase cash, minimise the capex and get to a position where they can start to return capital. SP then goes uo and the business becomes a more attractive target.

LUC balance sheet is a mess.

Would be good to see some volume here. 10% on such small volume doesn't fill me with confidence that its sustainable. I agree though come results time we should be north of 50p.
