Agreed, this is a lot bigger than it appears initially. There's a pretty good chance it's Magna and the wording would imply any other new EVs that use Magna would also use SEE for DMS /OMS. Take into account the sum mentioned is the minimum and this being the first financially significant amount mentioned under the new Pillars and this is big. And a lot bigger than A$7 million

NDAs in relation to models on the road as per F150, Mustang etc probably differ from one OEM to another and just have to be patient.

However, no NDA exists that can stop a company from issuing an RNS containing financially sensitive information, indeed it's obliged to as soon as it's practical to do so. And auto wise, we're now into the mass market era and consequently there are probably at least a couple of RNS whose contract value is at least equal to total auto booked value to date. I suspect market reaction will reflect the new contract values.

Of course, need the RNS' first!

Couldn't agree more, to move on SEE needs to deliver. Without that, the SP won't be going far either way.

There is a lot to be positive about. S2020's 21 for 2021 was not what I would consider over optimistic and IF only half of them are delivered, the SP will be way North of 15p by the year end.

But as you say, it's all about delivery, PM can shout from the rooftops about how good SEE is but without contracts, that's all it is.

So, PM, stop the shouting, and start delivering!

This is ASIL D, it's in the blurb. I have yet to see any from any other Tier 2 that is more than ASIL B. I think Jungo would struggle beyond that. Compared to Omnivision this would appear to be a step up and hardly likely in that event to be Jungo.

3 Pillars largely solves that issue, be it Xilinx, Qualcomm or Omnivision etc. I doubt PM will have the same concerns he had in November 2019 today.

Re: Byton, I read yesterday the M-Byte was due to go on sale in China late this year which is good news for SEE who despite everything appear to get vehicles to SOP.

Yes there has been good news recently but a common thread between each item has been a marked lack of any mention of $$$. We may get small broker reratings, which are welcome, but until the market is advised one way or another of the money involved, MMs have more scope to transfer shares from PIs to IIs, taking the SP down in the process, until the next rinse/repeat cycle.

It's unusual for many companies not to announce financially significant news for so long (19 months) so in theory it can't go on (can it?) and when it does start it's the mirror reverse of the last 19 months. So, Paul, get issuing, there's lots of LTH's avidly awaiting for the avalanche of news to start.

Martin was crowing about the Precept over 6 months ago which considering it's not due to late 2022/early 2023 and SEYEs track record of delays is very ambitious! Saying that if it's for China, the engineering requirements are quite likely not to be so onerous. This is the one model Geely win so the Precept, for now, is the only one.

And was decided on within 2 months I think, that is at light speed for an OEM. Whatever caused it, must have been major, SEYE undoubtedly knew/know about it and say nothing. Also, makes you wonder if for speeds sake, the only thing that's changed is the Tier 2 and not Tier 1?

You're right. I think this is for Japan only and Lexus recent sales were 33,000 and Mirai 2,000 per annum. So, could creep under the 'not financially significant' tag.
