Hi Glandore
Of course there isn't. However, you've been on this board long enough to have heard that other than one noticeable result, it had not lost a contested bid. That is not to say it can't but with the number of aces it's holding there is a high possibility it will win a significant majority of the RFQs.
Paul
I'm not sure about that for a few reasons. Note that the RNS stated that the RFQs were for Europe, the US and Japan, no mention of China (leave that to Qualcomm etc), other than a few wins where the final destination of the vehicles looks like China, there appears only to be the odd win for very basic DMS pre ENCAP /GSR. The OEM DMS requirements seem to be going quickly to Level 2 and quite honestly if OEMs want a safety DMS it has no option, SEYE etc struggle with availability and forward camera linkage. SEE has a very good record of winning the RFQs it enters. Finally, I think Paul has nailed his colours to the mast and expects to get pretty damn close to A$900 although the odd small Lancia type contract may somehow elude SEE.
Saying that, even 70% would be some achievement against competition as strong as that from the undoubted world leader in DMS!

Too early methinks.

To anyone but an unresearchef, ignorant Green Blob, it's as clear as can be there won't be a begging bowl handed round. Just a few of the pointers - 2 IIs investments adding to the pot, a few small significant wins and top ups by Lombard and 3 directors who should be in the know that the news will be positive and not include a diluting fund raise. It also precludes future contract wins which there will be.
So, I'm looking forward to a positive Update based on a bit of easily available information which Green Blobs always miss. Strange!

The article says nothing that hasn't already been said. In fact, if anything, it's more conservative regarding robotaxis than Argo which has said it will have a fleet of them by 2025, hub to hub trucks in 2025 has also been mooted before but note mass market AVs a lot longer coming.

But it's true, SEYE wasted $73.5 million on Affectiva and its masses of synthetic data which consists of loads of stills of faces in various poses which is used to train SEYE algorithms although there's nothing to suggest it actually increases the algorithms.
Whereas SEE data is regarding edge cases that are outside the cab which as the name indicates will never be included in synthetic data even if they weren't only stills of faces. And another thing that differentiates SEE data to synthetic data is it's proven to improve the algorithms. Other than that, nothing different.

Mitsubishi Sana are just tentatively involved in DMS, or were, but whether it is better than SEYE tech is up for debate, although it does have the resources. Toyota by all accounts isn't interested at this level, any software is probably on top of for example SEE algorithms. But anything is possible.
However I always come back to the fairly substantial moat SEE has, which I believe for now is just that.
Yes I know but that's the impression some OEMs have. There is also a problem in that the number of T2's who can do basis DMS very well is limited apparently to 1 or 2, the 2nd of those stating at CES 2019 it was 50/50 it would meet basic ENCAP. Ok, 3 years has passed so may have evolved the tech (not certain) so the same problem persists, lazy OEM perception.
I'm not sure that either ENCAP or (especially) GSR will let 1 or 2 put the program further behind, this is basic DMS, for now, and OEMs should be ready to enact. The wording reminds me of the Genesis, which encourages the driver to turn the DMS off. Presumably, the OEMs first experience of DMS was SEYE tech and not GM in, Ford, Mercedes or even BMW!!
We are now, apparently, in the mass market period. So, if that's the case, if the contract size is subsequently of an initial size of a different magnitude of say, Ford, expect a response in relation to it. If it's of similar size, 35% might be abou right but A$100 + million takes us into new territory SP wise. With AIM, it's all about $$$$$£££££
And it's known from old, that Toyota has been using SEE tech in Guardian, theirs that is, for quite some time. I'm with S2020, it's SEE. The fact that it's for L2/+ means that is a certainty. No one else can get to SOP at the speeds envisaged other than SEE. Slam dunk

A certain Green Blob was famous for his wonky, self serving spreadsheets. Looks like his alter ego has inherited them.
By the way, listen to the podcast from 1820. Even a 30% share of Toyota will be worth having, although expecting to exceed that greatly, something wonky spreadsheets can't cope with!
