As far as I'm aware, no one suggested SEE would win all contracts in all markets in SEE's relevant fields. As far as I'm aware there is not such a monopolistic situation in any market in the world. To paint the Samsung news as totally negative disregards the positive ie there is competition because there is profit to be made. If SEE were to get anywhere near 50% of the market in it's respective markets, it would be a massive success.

S2020 I agree with your appraisal but with the caveat that it should read either 'at least one' or 'all..'. Like many on here, this is a ringing endorsement of SEE by SEYE. Imitation being the greatest form o flattery.....

As SG said, this is a big endorsement of SEE by SEYE. A few months ago Viktor was extolling the virtues of the SEYE solution and now, belatedly, SEYE is going the same route. Maybe it's a pointer as to how the RFQ's have/are going?

Terry /Chris. It may not be Super Cruise but where Ford, BMW, Mercedes et al go GM will surely follow ie DMS in every vehicle (due to regulatory pressure /requirements). It's odd that GM hasn't reacted in line with Ford although maybe it has or is about to!

I believe it's relevant what Mr Safesocks said regarding FCA, in that as GM and Ford had chosen SEE, FCA would feel obliged to go for quality ie SEE. I suppose you could make the same assumption for the other Big 3x3 as well... So, it's hardly likely GM will look elsewhere.

As Semicast said in his reply to Safestocks, he'd always found the market leader never shouted out how well it was doing. Of course, I could be wrong and we should all invest in SEYE. But, on reflection, and remembering we are leading 4-0 at the moment, I'll pass on the opportunity.

I'm pretty convinced we will not be gobbled up and that the next 12 months, maybe tomorrow who knows, there will be a raft of RNS relating to the above.
What would be a remedy for the SP immediately (which is not only down perely because of SEE's situation but the market generally) would be some indication of 1. BdMS sales which would provide immediate working capital and 2. Any licensing agreement as regards Guardian (if any) which would also provide immediate working capital and potentially go from loss making to profit making leading to some upward movement, we can hope!

It appears that the leading DMS companies are 'both' suffering. Does that mean Smarteye have plans to go for a placing just after they've had one?

All L5 looks to be 2-3 decades away, not 2-3 years, so this is a very long term trend.
