This shares rise yesterday was typical of others I hold. I reasoned that the Mexico/US NAFTA trade, announcement helped. Today the same shares are down. Various reasons but point being that yesterday's rise was not RMG specific and neither is the drop. I am heavily invested in RMG and not losing any sleep.

"wider implications" anyone with any sense knows to ignore Liberum where RMG are concerned. The CWU got what their members wanted, it's old news move on. Ofcom will be sorted in the courts. Onwards and upwards old girl, your a British Institution and doing a great job.

My comment was referring to the lawyers financial incentive to win against Ofcom who as usual are hell bent on bashing RMG. The situation with the Unions was totally different and seemed to me that common sense prevailed. Hopefully both sides were content.

The lawyers will get a chunk of the £50 million when they defeat Ofcom. Nothing like money to sharpen the senses.

This drop is not IMHO a sign of concern in RMG. Various holdings down last couple of days. Carney should raise interest rates Thursday.

MSN for example also showing a closing price of 473.40

Royal Mail Group next goes ex-dividend on 26/07/2018. This will be the Final dividend for 2018.

The dividend per share amount is 16.30p and the payment date is 31/08/2018.

Will the board act on the wishes of approx 70% ?
