I have no problem with Aviva despite today down 4.55% as response to the statement that headwinds / Brexit fears near term outlook entering 2019 is more muted than our outlook a year ago. However it increased its total dividend per share 9 % to 30p, the fifth year in a row it has risen.

Don't forget also that a dividend cut directly affects Rico. He has put his money where his mouth is but doesn't mean he will be happy to forego his own dividend payment.

Sounds like a plan and agree RMG is a keeper. No chance of Labour renationalising if they ever held the wheel again the car crash that would result would ensure RMG problems would fade into insignificance.

Yes I watched the AV. results first thing Nuri. Divi up again and a nice 30p for the year. I will collect the Divi there and then use some of my Av. to top up here.

Among my portfolio RMG & AV. are and have been constants for many years. Nothing will change there.

Shale. RMG posts results and pays dividend mid summer and year end. Quite reasonable to expect certain activity around those times.
