Where the problem lies is that those elevated to leadership have a duty to act in a way that doesn't bring their position or the institute they represent into disrepute.
When one union officer is kicking a police officer in a pub brawl and the other is using the language he is, it makes me wonder what scrutiny was attached to their suitability for the positions.

Fruit. Thug indeed by all accounts "Terry has a criminal record for hitting a police officer" seems obvious he considers himself above the law. Union members often assume "safety in numbers" or relative safety of anonymous posting.

You and I seem to suffer from the same problem I feel. We have an innate decency which suggests we should respond to anyone that has written irrespective of the content. I feel this is the wrong approach as it emboldens the poster to more outrageous comments and general unpleasantness. My intention going forward is to deprive the poster of oxygen when they are obviously not complying with the level of decency towards fellow posters that is expected on this board.

If nothing else it should be an interesting week with many of us glued to the changing news. Will Bercow play the game today or as usual play the remainer game.
