The Porsche was a good investment which has nothing to do with cash. It attracts the female attention when your no longer the young stud. Been there done that. PP got what he wanted and no longer needs the motor.

To be honest even though I feel M & H are a waste of taxpayers money and cannot compare to William & Catherine. I would rather watch M & H than little kids being harmed by these awful weapons.

Oli. I was dreading the morning news and pleasantly surprised there was nothing on BBC. I even wondered if I had somehow misinterpreted. Sadly the biased BBC is not what it was. There is also the thought that the main players are talking via back channels and endeavouring to step back from the brink that will do neither any good. At the same time trying to save face. The rockets could have been from factions that are not in line with this thinking and therefore a semi block was managed with regard to the news.

I was watching The Trial of Christine keeler on BBC last night. Stephen Ward utters the words "Onwards & Upwards" to Christine.
He was obviously thinking of Royal Mail ;-)

"Air raid sirens wailed in the zone that houses the U.S. embassy shortly after midnight on Thursday local time. Iraqi police said that one rocket had landed about 100 yards from the embassy."

The Iraqi military said there were no reports of casualties in the attack.

Initial reports indicated that the rockets were Katyushas, a Soviet-area ground-based multiple rocket launcher used by multiple factions within Iraq.

It comes one day after an Iranian ballistic missile strike on Iraqi bases that house U.S. troops. No American casualties were suffered in that attack.
