Our live Investing Matters Podcast Special which took place at the Master Investor Show discussing 'How undervalued is the UK stock market?', has just been released. Listen here.
Hi Red - always good posts. 88e has always had at least one deramper/resident troll in house at any one time. Apparently, it can be a good sign (Bashers Handbook:Lesson 1: Remember, BASHERS NEVER BASH A BAD STOCK.) We have had supposedly (and how[?]) well-informed posters: Smalterie, marqualeffe, Lefkosia, 'high numbers', Scot126......these are (were[?]) cancerous posters and so multiply and aim to destroy at every opportunity, imo. Nevertheless, VGLA

08.46 - this poster said 'Its about the money' (illiterate but hey-ho):
Yes, it is about the money from a financial investing point of view (there are other reasons to invest). Companies need money to invest in themselves and I have no issues with any (unlikely) CR here. I have been here for a long time and am very happy to ride out the inevitable truism that Avacta uses money. Even if there was a CR - a substantial one at, let's say 15% dilution, our SP has risen 15% over the last 2 days(!) To raise some sort of 'spectre' of CR is, imo, nonesense and only of potential interest to very short term traders.
Of more interest (to them?) is the big upward moving SP 'futures':
A takeover bid (hostile or agreed) and the really big RNS with £ numbers. In either case one must ask the question 'will there be an orderly market or will there be a trading halt?'. Its (it's) a bit bigger than 'I wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend'!
So, traders will be in or out when the seismic SP moves happens - decisions, decisions. I shall hold my golden shares and always be 'IN'. VGLA
