Some large holders are not happy with the offer price and are starting to make some noise. Could get interesting.

Paid today into my account. All is good.
Well, strangely I actually got voting papers (and voted). First time ever as I have held for many years. Probably a mistake somewhere!
As for the price, yeah, totally underpriced and ignored. The lower it goes the more I buy so not that unhappy.
Big issue this year has been the sell down by Asia Frontier Capital. It was a massive 7% of their fund and has been reduced considerably. That should remove that overhang for 2023.
Now at 236 Tk in Dhaka which equates to Two pounds exactly. Share price here is slowly increasing but still a massive gap. Having said that, the days of purchases under a pound per share on the LSE are likely to soon be over. Have increased my position over the last few weeks and now happy to sit back and watch. Results and dividend/bonus shares info will be out at the end of next month.
General lift in Dhaka and Chittagong exchanges, all pharma and most other companies are rising.
By my calculations, we went Xd and Xc on Sunday in Dhaka (T+3 settlement). Surprised the SP has now risen (probably related to the Oxford vaccine news). I was certain we were in for a 10% + drop but there are lots of buyers still in Bangladesh and London.
Impressive set of numbers. Dividend of 1.5 Tk and a 1 for 10 bonus issue of shares. Is that on the LSE as well or just Dhaka?
Interesting news article reveals that BXP has started a new PPE division, taking advantage of current spare capacity in the Bangladeshi garment industry, and is even thinking of a joint venture in the US .
"Beximco has launched a new PPE division and hired global consultants, while investing and setting up comprehensive vertical facilities for its PPE products including all levels of PPE gowns, coveralls, masks, etc. The company plans to become a major global player in this sector in the next three years.
The company has also established a strategic partnership with Chicago based Geste Designs and are examining the feasibility to jointly invest and establish a PPE manufacturing hub in the US state of Detroit with support of the state and the city."

Waiting with anticipation for these results. My only Bangladeshi investment, but one I am really confident about.
Almost all of my investments are based on first hand experience of the products. BXP is no different, as I was became ill in a northern Bangladesh city, probably from a dodgy curry. I wandered into a chemist and was recommended a BXP Gastro drug. I was impressed not only that it worked quickly, but by the price I paid, ridiculously cheap compared to medicines I would buy from a pharmacy back home, but still a luxury for many locals.
With the amount of building work I observed in the country, and the opening of malls with all the western brands, the growth of the middle class is very visible, and with that the ability to purchase medicines. BXP will grow and grow from here.
