RE: Whoa!!!29 Oct 2024 19:21
If you think it’s good news the value of the shares drop 50% and increases UK shareholders risk due to process and management of the transition of shares and only being IG who will broker ASX in the UK for the majority of people. Then, sorry but I’ll not be taking your views on board.
The risk is around the process of the shares moving and then having to trade through IG for them to essentially transfer from current broker via the CHES system or if transfer prior. It’s the risk/worry and hassle of this. Plus then for the majority you’ve 2 brokers to deal with (assuming you don’t trade just Tlou) and likely loose the holding from being held within an ISA.
The movement of the share price is not down to dual listing, it’s just a matter of timing that if ones drops, ofc the other will follow suit. It’s down to the valuation of the shares, which sadly is driven by the Directors where lately we’ve had little positive news and the latest news adds to the risk of what is next, especially when further funding is required.
Frustration is with the management and little information, the savings aspect of delisting I don’t think hinders it’s likely a longer strategic play. Cost to maintain versus just wipe off £ms from the company value, whose great idea is this. Plus in the RNS note they’re covered by just sort your own advice and contract your broker.
