Europe mostly higher premarket ahead of UK data15 Dec 2021 06:48
Equities in the European region traded mostly higher on Wednesday, as investors waited for important inflation data to arrive from the United Kingdom.
Meanwhile, the European Union conditionally approved the Veolia-SUEZ merger, and on the COVID front, France recorded the highest number of daily cases in over a year.
Both the DAX and the CAC 40 saw gains at 7:34 am CET, increasing 0.34% and 0.22% respectively. Meanwhile, the FTSE 100 was flat.
The euro rose 0.17% against the dollar to trade for $1.12725 at 7:43 am CET, while the pound was up by 0.14% against the American currency going for $1.32406 a minute later.
