Oil price has a number of positive drivers heading into 2020. Trade deal phase 1. Global recession looking unlikely. OPEC+ extension. Us shale reduced rig count and increasing decline rates. Next one to watch will be what happens with India’s economy. If they pull their economy back around I can see the price of WTI getting back to $75-80 next year. Combine that with a producing saffron, an upgraded SWP, and improved base production (from our TWO work over rigs) and we will be back on top and closing the gap on the Finncap SP forecast 14p

we are 41 days on from the Spud RNS 29 October. In which we were told the
"Company expects to advance to drilling with the 8½ inch pilot hole in the next few days. The Company expects the well will take approximately 30-45 days to complete and evaluate and will update the market when appropriate"

A few people have said the 30-45 day period would start a 'few days' beyond 29 October - and I can see why. However I interpret the 30-45 period to be from the RNS. Otherwise 1) they would have said 30-45 days from drilling commencement. Also 2) what is the purpose of stating a time frame if no-one knew when it started or finished. I believe Friday is the 45th day.

Also let’s not forget we are over due an operational update, which will include the impact of the second work over rig... “A second workover rig was purchased from the USA in late Q2 2019, with intent of making the Company self-sufficient in workover rigs (owning a total of 2 workover rigs). This will significantly reduce future workover costs. The second rig will be fully operational in Q3 2019, allowing far more flexible and cost-effective well-work activities between the Company's fields“

I’ve asked what the cerp bod believe schroders motivation to be and also if they are looking to bring in a new major shareholder, or if existing majors have any appetite to fill the gap. They will have a more detailed communication strategy with the II’s than they do with us. CERP have a storey to sell. Saffron results will help - and I suspect we would have heard by now if it was a duster. Drilling was only to be 3 weeks the other 1-3 weeks is evaluation. Nothing to evaluate if no hydrocarbons found and they would be obliged to notify the market. So feeling more confident each day now
