Apologies if not already mentioned, but SC134 is looking increasingly promising:

"Our lead GlyMab® candidate, SC134, has generated strong in vivo data and commercial interest. Positive scientific advice has been received from the FDA and MHRA to support initiation of a Phase 1/2 clinical trial."

It sounds like it is not far away from going into the clinic.

Scancell have enough phase 2 data to be statistically significant. This was one of the sticking points on the first SCIB1 trial. Another sticking point was the ICHOR device. This has also been addressed.

Then the gap in PFS between the Scope trial and the Ipo/Nivo trial is easily big enough for a good deal to be struck. I would be surprised if this doesn't happen. The speed at which the FDA approved the IND is also significant. But, as moon says, let's judge the mood in Thursday's presentation.

Scancell also have SCIB2 which was going to be progressed to the clinic by CRUK. There is also an iSCIB2+ version.

This was aimed at NSCLC initially but was thought by Lindy to also be possibly effective for other internal organ cancers.

CRUK abandoned the project (due to lack of funds during the pandemic) and so it returned to Scancell.

Lindy also said more recently that, due to the success of SCIB1/iSCIB1+ in the current scope trial, the search is now on for further Immunobody vaccines.

My view is that sometimes you get a day or two delayed reaction to an RNS. New investors need time to research and there is certainly a lot to research in Scancell.

I recall Professor Christian Ottensmeier was the clinician at Southampton for the first SCIB1 trial. He was also on a panel discussing SCIB1 at a Scancell investors event. Now at Liverpool University ,but he has always been a fan of Scancell's science.

Last time Ambrose received capital investments (as I recall, in the region of 900,000) they trumpeted the fact on their website.

Yet, at March last year, they only had 25k in the bank. Subsequent to March last year, there have been no announcements of further investments.

I ask myself (i.e. Rats) how this all adds up.

This is not the same as the current Scope trial which is for patients with unresectable melanoma.

However, you just need to look at the results of the original SCIB1 trial and, in particular, those patients with resected melanoma. Then you will see that iSCIB1+ with Ipo/Nivo could easily beat the Merck/Moderna results for resected melanoma.

The reason I ask is that if I look at Ambrose Healthcare on Companies House, I find the same name with the same month of birth:

I recall Lindy saying she thinks SC134 is more promising than BMS-986012.

It binds better to fucosyl-GM1 was her view and now we know that additionally T-Cell binding has been improved (as communicated at the last AGM).

No doubt we will see a publication about this improvement in due course.
