I must say that all the hype has led so far to nought. I realise there good fundamentals but after dropping now 30k I am starting to feel somewhat apprehensive.

Thanks Matty. At least someone has a long enough memory to remember how we all got shafted by that twat. All those guys who worked there and were conned into piling in their pensions and all the rest of us who believed their story We all collectively lost millions and that sod came out in profit. That was a big lesson for me and it’s taken a long time for me to even get near to recovering.
If we had had some proper financial support from the useless Borris government at the time, so many of us could have been saved from ruin at the hands of another American conglomerate.
Roll on GGP but never, never think can’t happen to us.

Well that is true on both counts but have built many a stand in my career (exhibition design and build) and looked like they hadn’t thrown much at it. I guess it depends on what the audience is and what they are looking to do/achieve by being there. Clearly it was a trumpet blowing exercise, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

You’ve dragged me out of the shadows with your disappointing and wrong view of this board.
This one of the best there is with some regular contributors that disseminate some excellent insight and research to the rest of us who are happy to make the best of any proper information offered. This isn’t to say that we base our investment decisions on it but it all helps to build a picture.
I for one am extremely grateful for the efforts of the stalwarts on here (I don’t need to reel off a list of names as anyone who’s bin here a while knows who I mean) who are happy to share their research.
