Short description of my project:

The aim of this project is to acquire a better understanding of T cell behaviour and T cell population homeostasis. To do so, I use mathematical tools to study receptor/interleukin binding models, focusing especially on IL-2 and IL-7. In some of the models, I am particularly interested in studying the influence of the number of available gamma chains on the dose response since the gamma chain is used in many interleukin receptors that can compete for this receptor subunit. These models can be compared with real data.

NM26 is an investigational first-in-class bi-specific antibody for the treatment of moderate-to-severe atopic dermatitis, discovered and engineered through Numab’s proprietary MATCH™ technology platform.

Johnson & Johnson will pay a purchase price of $1.25 billion and will gain the full rights to develop, manufacture and commercialize NM26 globally for atopic dermatitis and follow-on indications. This acquisition further validates our discovery and engineering platform and its potential to bring novel multi-specific antibodies to underserved patient populations.

On Oct 3rd PYC we’re pleased to announce the hiring this week of a new senior member of its team, Dr Venkata Putcha, as Head of Biostatistics.

The Head of Biostatistics role will help to formulate and deliver on the Company’s new Biostatistics service offering. The initial focus will be to build upon the Company’s existing Biostatistics strategy, working with Business Development and Senior Management to define key service offerings and identify new clients

Have not seen this happening in the last 7 months.
