Not sure if any reverence to Pyc, but new employee David Hodson and Hitesh Mistry, with others, has recently published a paper on “ Radiation in Combination with Immune Checkpoint Blockade and DNA Damage Response Inhibitors in Mice: Dosage Optimisa in MC38 Syngeneic Tumours via Modelling and Simulation”

Lea Sta now added to team profile.

The company have a number of immuno- oncology products in the pipeline.

Looking at datelines I think product PYC involved with is NM21-1480.

Laura,
Over the years Pyc has employed a few Scientists that have helped company to progress.
The following is my thoughts of how they contributed.
Dr Hitesh Mistry - Virtual Tumour, plus Partner and Merc plus others..Role is now as a consultant.
Dr Fernando Ortega - Mainly Merck and Partner projects plus others. Left company end of 2022.
Dr Claire Villette - Partner plus others. After a few years role is now as a consultant.
So maybe new employee will be more involved with Beyond Blood and Inaphaea BioLabs Limited and Sheffield Uni projects.
Let’s hope company does start progressing very soon and SP goes up.
Hopefully with her intellect and knowledge she helps Pyc pull something good out of the bag.
📉 ✏ About my work 🔬 👩🎓
If you don't know much about mathematical immunology and you are interested in the subject, I'll be happy to develop for you in private. If you know a bit about it then:
I developed deterministic mathematical models of receptor-ligand systems and made use of tools from algebraic geometry to better understand the relationship between the receptor expression level of a cell and its response intensity to the ligand stimulus. I also developed and analysed agent-based models of the competition for IL-2 within the T cell population to investigate the interconnections between the population dynamics and the receptor expression level distribution within this population of cells.
Looks like new member staff, Biosim Scientist. Lea Sta from June.

Looks like application for grant in process.

The team's goal now is to research and develop a handheld version of this cell counter, fluid handling system and software such that any user, regardless of their skill level, can obtain a white blood cell count in any setting. The project will focus on the engineering and design work needed to produce the miniaturised system. The team will then use this device to analyse a large collection of blood samples in order to train the algorithm to detect all types of blood cells. Ultimately the project will lead to testing and evaluation of the prototype miniature blood cell counter by a panel of patients and doctors (i.e. primary users of the device in the long term
Was that a roll over of 1,000,000 @ 0.095 £950, then sold for 0.95 £9,500?

Anyone know PYC employing a Digital lead consultant, seems to have been employed before 2018 - 2019.

At moment they have had 300k grant from Innovate Uk to develope their prototype. 3 people at company. No product in production. Their webpage has only one page.
Collaboration could take 2 years before going onto market.
Not sure if this will be a hit or miss deal?
Post has only been advertised for week, wonder if position filled.

The links seem to be showing the old team page, think you will have to go into PYC site and then click on TEAMS.
The 2 missing staff were both senior PK/PD Modellers.
