Solid divi share buy backs the only way is up.

i dont have any stop losses in place but it might give me a good op to top up i think the results will be fairly good

i do agree that the divi should of been suspended until it was making the money to pay it and i think they should look at reducing the debt levels before paying divi,s .but you have or wish to be a share holder at some point so you have to factor a price you would pay. given this has dropped from 190 in a week even accounting for the divi it must be getting towards a bottom or do you see this drifting further.

i take your point but the board must see good profits being generated near to medium term 157 is now very cheap, given the consensus of most ratings it should be over 200 .but i stlll question the £50 million in divi,s was that a wise use of the companies money time will tell you cant a least say they are not shareholder focused .

im broadly happy with the half year results but they do waffle a bit, im still very positive on wine as an undervalued stock the biggest near term challenge is the pound v euro exchange rate but i expect that to improve next year. that will improve profitability no end jmo.

i should think it is institutional investors will try and buy millions of shares at prices up to 360 jmo.

i hear what you are saying but should that equate to a drop of this magnitude 380/390 should be a reasonable price im in at 314 happy at that.

at wine its preformed well made good profits paid decent divi,s in past year this drop seems well over the top , just because they will make 2 million less am i missing some thing .

logically had they of no announced the placing today the sp would be well up on the results rns tehn next week the placing at 4 4.5p at a discount hmm they wanted those shares at that price because its a steal jmo

for a good time to buy this share and today i got in at 3.7 happy with that

some positive news and updates re the new hub appeal and the search for a new cfo this should be in the mid 20s by now still happy that lots of big named funds are holding and adding in some cases its just a matter of time and news .

you are right they need to sell any good news ,but ultimatley the numbers are the judge and jury and i think they will be solid and progressive . which means sustainable divi,s the sp will follow sharply up jmo.

no problem with that correction a decent rise on the cards at some point and as long as the divi gets paid happy days.
