Just read your 9.02 msg, must have got lost. Yes the Anstocks, Fog and Alan were real characters, they used to threaten to shoot me and my pony for galloping past the field and upsetting the mares and foals, I was only 7 or 8 and didn't understand, but by the time I was 19 they wanted me to show for them ! Great times. Both dead now but I'm still in the village and get to chat about them now and again with other horsey village "elders". I'll leave it at that must be annoying other posters. Mandy

Sorry to hear that you have lost all those memories, they are very precious. He was sold as a 2 year old but I don't recall who to, didn't jot that bit down. He won the Champion of Show before the sale. V sad to see him go. I can't help you with any ridden photos bt I have some in hand ones taken at various shows including GYS. Just had a look in one of my HIS sale booklets, Sire was King Willow and he was sold at the Yorkshire show sale for 1700g we must have taken him because I've jotted all prices down in the book. M

I cannot believe it. I showed Barney, the farm where he was bred is in my village and I had my horse, at the time at Claybank farm and had been friends with the Anstock brothers who bred him for years. He won everywhere we went and the Claybank prefix was well known. Honestly I can't get over it, my husband thought I'd just won the lottery when I came running in to the kitchen !! Betheny B was owned by a woman named Broughton who was also a friend on the brothers. God it's really brought back memories, he was very special and so genuine I very nearly bought him myself but he was such a size and me being 8 stone at most then and 5 ft 5 he was't for me. I think he was sold a Stonelegh. I also showed another Betheny B filly called Honey B. I know the horse world is small but this s unbelievable ! Regards M

You're right. I've been in and out of this share since Feb. The rumour and then confirmation RNS have been going on for ages, or it seems like it. There hasn't been that much interest on here iii seem quite keen, or they were maybe a month or so ago if anyone wants a bit more background.

Have a look on iii again some really good news - so much for not making any announcement today !!! I know nothing !! anyway i'll be glad to see a good profit here and sell. No i wasn't in RAF accountant, not quite as exciting. M
