Short and to the point, hopefully not too long for us to wait. Where are we know? Year 7?
I appreciate your response, I have had a canter around the internet ( what a great asset when used sensibly ). I am amazed at the technicalities relating to the production of cooking coal, even more impressed by the modernisation of the technologies to being used to clean up the process. Yet another example of 'ignorance is bliss'. At 71, i have seen a lot of changes and I am an advocate of progress and new technologies. However, i am saddened that we are not always given the full facts.
I am aware that this conversation has little to do with shares but I do thank you for contributing.
I find this to be a very interesting debate and I hope you will forgive an old mans ramblings,.
Living near a major airport, this year has been heaven, low noise levels and more importantly heavy reduced air pollution. I am also very supportive of the need clean up our act regarding atmospheric pollution and also the need to create employment. Thus, sacrifices have to be made. Additionally, it is so easy to condemn an industry with a view to curtailing it's activity.
Surely the best way forward is to look for supportive solutions. Portugal are in a position to do precisely that with the value Lithium will bring. Yes there will br sacrifices but as the saying goes; life moves on. Perhaps those in charge of this issue need support or guidance on how to present the upside of this venture to the population. As i walk around the UK, I come across some wonderful parklands and I am amazed to find that many of them are old coal mining areas. Hopefully the recent news about opening UK coal mines will not happen. I was very impressed with V.W's broadcast this week, perhaps they could help to sell the Lithium mining concept to Portugal.
CM I did like the advert selling holidays to the U.K.. Perhaps we could give them a nudge: no lithium mine no U.K. holidays. :0)
Sorry that was for Osaka and CM
What is your crystal ball telling for 2022 - 2004?
You & CM seem to have a very handle on this share.
Opportunity for a win win partnership between S&P ?
I am sure you will have read this by now, for those who may not have.

An encouraging read
Galp raised to “leadership level” on CDP’s annual review of corporate climate-change practices
You have seen this from last year, 12/10/2020 but worth a reminder and hopefully, this may encourage the locals to accept the project.
Something my have changed somewhere , a lot of purchases today.
I think that is excellent news and we may now see some positive movement forward.
Another and last apology for my typos, my 71 read old brain cannot keep up

I found this article in treating, particularly the last three paragraphs. My take on the read is as follows.
1. There appears to be room in the market for new Lithium mine development.
2. SAV are in an advanced position regarding their Lithium mining project.
3. A definite Bull Market, with SP fluctuating from the sensitivity of the volume production.

If you have not read this Jan 2021 article, copy & paste the above. Sadly, it is the only way i know how to post it here.
L.O.L very good.
Very quiet on here today, is something important about to happen?
PS please excuse the typos, got a bit giddy
Every now and then, the stars align and a something miraculous arrives. Amazon 1996 SP $18: today,$3,380.00. Would you have forecast that?
I am new to investing and take a very cautious approach. However, I do have a very good friend who has made and lost a lost of money. His mantra is never fall in love with a share, sound advice.
Back to star gazing. 1. climate change is for real. 2. Global warming is for real. 3. There is international support for the global warming concept and agreement that carbon reduction is essentail. 4. The banning of fossil fuels is already underway. 5. The world will continue for many billions of years yet, so there is a need for humans to continue their current life style whilst not polluting our planet. 6. it is now time for the knight on his white charger to come to the rescue with his white gold... Lithium!
Ignoring my earlier comments relating to Portugal and will she won't she allow the mining to take place. If this prospecitve does not take place, Portugal will be in a worse position than there are now, even more so when fossil fuels are no longer available.
So, my thought processes are not necessarily associated with investments as such, mote to do with the time is right for this particular investment. I firmly believe that due to the above ramblings, now is the time for change on a massive scale and those in charge cannot allow "earth saving" progress not to go ahead.
Further evidence is available by simply watching the amount of international work being put into climate change.
Feel free to condemn me, I am at your mercy but lets nots ignore the facts that have brought us to this position. And yes I am having a boring day so I thought I would foster my thoughts you guys.
I would welcome the view of CM and Osaka )on this one. I feel the only way this stock does not move forward to better SP, is if the Portuguese government side with the campaigners who are against the mining for a variety of reasons. All understandable. However, the financial benefits for their economy is eye watering and there is the backing of the E.U. for this project.
I have watched a couple of these similar interviews with different people and each time SAV got a mention.
I have a warm feeling about SAV, so if all goes well with Galp etc, we should see the SP rise.
