Is worth noting Genomic analysis is currently done through sequencing which takes days (8 according to Dido Harding) this can be done in hours on PCR instruments
Thinking mid term

I understand the Novacyt Insider will be producing an article covering the COVID testing outlook over next 2 yrs. Stay tuned.
Also worth considering the significant risk of viral drift while we await full call vaccine herd immunity. As vaccine rates increase the more likely the virus will radically mutate. That should be closely monitored within UK health settings, population screening and most importantly checking at boarders.
All good UK being vaccinated, but will be many years until poor areas are. We don't want nasty mutations or stains with similar mortality rates and infectiousness levels getting in that vax won't protect against
Why do you say next week? Surely they can't take part in an investor conf prior to issuing results

This looks like a contract variation "Surge Contract (with Variations 1-4)" rather than for variants. Was issued August and expired end of jan
KerryG was highlighting we are awaiting share of the Govs PCR lab testing tender. It say delivery of 1st Feb. I'm not going by the 1st as gov has been useless meeting timescales, but it will come at some stage. 2 year duration
True that, she doesn't know everything haha
Who can spell and type? lol
Who's WHO approved?
Who do UNICEF call?
Who received £12.2m order?
Who had £120m July sales&orders
Whose Brokers set £256m>£260m targets?
Who needs £140m sales in 6 months to beat
Who can divide £140m by 12 Ukraines?

Don't think there need for concern. I get the feeling Erica who's CEO of our NEW Canadian based distributor made an honest mistake and was not aware of implications of her mistake. Hopefully when she wakes she can correct herself
For reference ****y Randox have manged to make 9m tests. Novacyt had 10m a month capacity back in late July.
11 COVID products, some of which we have seen high quality promo videos for.
How many other companies do you see have their tests used as bench marks? Thermo, PerkinElmer, ****y Randox, Abbott (not sold in UK).
Who's approved by the WHO
Who do you UNICEF call?
Who received a £12.2m order yesterday?
Who had sales and order book of £120m in July
Whose Brokers set targets of £256m to £260m sales
Who needs apprise £140m sales in 6 months beat
Who can giving £140m by 12 Ukraine?
Who knows what this number is 11.47?
Who sells to 230 counties?
befcasr I wouldn't set expectations on seeing Q's being deployed in care homes.
Even with ProMATE i don't think deployment in care homes would be an effective use of staff resource and instruments.
A managed service such as VersaLabs which can cover testing of several local care homes makes a lot more sense. Samples can be collected and then tested at a set location. These units can be easily relocated to follow hot spots far easier than setting up and disassembling a lab
Jnew86 i was commenting in relation to the topic heading which is only for use with the Q's and MyGo Pro.
Here's some info on pool testing in general
https://novacytinsider.com/pcr-pooling-to-overcome-capacity-constraints-and-reduce-costs/
Q's
Are they using Saliva samples?
Am not sure
Are they planning / capable to use "pooling" once the infection rate reduces?
Q aren't efficient for pooling samples, more effective to use 96 plate rather than 16 or 32 wells
I believe the £20b tender is for LFT's which is why Microgen bid. This Tender is split into £15b and £5b
Microgen bid for share of £15b which will be awarded in lots of £150m
Novacyt is bidding for share of £22b PCR Tender
We also await ProMATE unlocking remaining £256m of DHSC direct tender for our cute Q's

Between Qiagen's 2020 revs $1.5b (£10b Thermo summer take over target) & Thermo Fishers recent $450m takeover of Mesa Biotech ($45m 2020 revs) you can get a real feel for Novacyt's rerate in the coming days

Better, faster, safer
Novacyt continues to innovate, launching PROmate in conjunction with its Point of Care Q16 & Q32 diagnostic instruments enabling faster, simpler & safe testing solution
Novacyt has listened to client feedback, making prep stage safe with virus deactivation taking place within "sample preparation tubes" removing risk of viral exposure to technicians. The swab is placed in the tube, close the lid, biological wizardry & sample is safe to handle
PROmate eliminates biohazard risk during extraction, removing the need for Category II safety cabinets
This improvement should accelerate the installation of Q16 & Q32's within decentralised settings, such as NHS hospitals & other suitably resourced settings
The improved workflow significantly reduces time from sample prep to result from 180 mins to just 80 mins. The prior method involved a multi pipette process, which has been streamlined to 1 pipette
PROmate should unlock award of DHSC Phase II contract & present many opportunities within & outside the UK
Is tantalising to see if it will be used in conjunction with Novacyt's VersaLabs mobile solution to service care home settings & other commercial settings
