Hello addicknt, I did cover that to be fair, I said in previous posts, that the main stakeholders know what they got.
I think we are both on the same page, and both our valuations on what Solgold is worth, are near to each other.
Would you agree, that should we secure the funding to get Alpala to production.
That It makes a takeover much less likely.

Agreed durhamfox, and we are bigger now, and getting bigger.
Too many on here, think it's about money, that's nowhere near the full story.
In order for a takeover to succeed, you have to offer the main shareholders more than they already have.
That's hard enough for any takeover, but when the value is constantly shifting in an upward position, it's almost impossible.
Solgold is not for sale, if someone wanted to buy your house, and you didn't want to sell it, you don't have to sell it.
I know many parties own blocks of shares.
I only see CGP screaming buy me, and we all know, how that's going.

It seems interesting, and clearly people have moved their position, over the last few months. So useful to continue this debate.
It seems to me, that people are moving their position towards production.
My reasoning is thus:

The two camps were miles apart, however reading between the lines, I think if we sort out the financing for Alpala, and start to build, the position will shift further towards production.
Maybe we are not so entrenched in our positions after all.

It's useful to remember that the payback of projects is sometimes in advance of 20 years.
At the PEA level, it was announced that Alpala had a payback of under 4 years.
I think it was 3.6 or 3.8, I am unsure.

We are expecting a PFS shortly, it will be interesting to see if the payback period has changed.

A growing number of market participants are accepting and rationalising the likelihood of a Biden win as good for markets. The daily preoccupation is with a Stimulus Package that will not come before 3 November.

We cannot predict whether there will be a violent US market reaction that ripples across the globe (old adage 'when the US sneezes the world catches a cold...')

In which case, neither SOLG nor would be predators may be immune from the fallout.

So, greg, whatever my longer term view, I will definitely be selling some stock before 3 November, even if its for short term strategic defence reasons...

The point is BHP are not a guarantor.
We obtained 100 million dollars from FN, with no guarantor, it was based on the Alpala deposit.
My point is that if we prove up other tenements, that we can fund raise on their NPV.
Many people said, we were going to get diluted to hell, if we went along the road of funding Alpala ourselves.
I wonder how many feel that way now.
If Ingo raises the money we require to build Alpala, it won't be on guarantors, it will be on the resource we have. ( PFS )
Which ever way this goes, I am comfortable with my investment, as I am sure you are.

I do believe that we will have other tier 1 projects, however this is not a problem, as we can assign high level project managers, and run these projects in parallel. ( I like the word parallel ).
Many small companies in the UK, expand rapidly using these methods.

Let's see Solgold acquire the funding for Alpala.
Because if they are successful, they have no need for a JV, no need to sell below full value.
In fact no need to sell at all, no matter what the offer is.

Some on here say, he has to say that to get the best price. ( well no one has bid up till now )
If he says he is going to build the mine.
Some on here say it's impossible, even though BHP don't build their own mines, they hire outside companies.
Some on here say, that the Franco Nevada deal, will never be signed, it was a ploy to get BHP to bid. ( it was signed )
Some on here say, we can't raise the finance. ( watch this space )
Some on here say, that BHP and others can build this faster than Solgold. ( I am losing count, how many times Nick Mather and Jason Ward, have stated this is not true ).

Morning Eish, then let the smarties keep on coming, we require support as Alpala carries on, and we need to move to a position, where Porvenir and others start to prove up, and eventually move towards a PEA, so some extra value can be attributed to the NPV.
