Now misquoting Toyota.

Toyota have raised concerns about Copper and in particular Lithium. ( Shortages )

Yes they have announced a multiple approach including hybrids ( see how long that lasts )

But they are phasing out petrol and diesel cars like everyone else.

However if Toyota want to continue to sell into the UK and Europe, then it's either electric or hydrogen. No hybrids.

They know this.

That's why this year, next year and in 2026 they are releasing a plethora of electric cars.

What's more if Slug understood anything about engineering, he would understand what part lithium plays in a battery.

Other technologies are coming on line that will use smaller quantities of lithium in order to enable the free flow of electrons in a opposite direction.

I am pleased that PFS3 is nearing completion.

However I do think as it's nearing completion that they could have at this stage given us a date or date range.

They raise money in various ways, the underlying NPV forms the basis for a mixture of Finance options.

Some are more expensive, some are not.

If the discovery stands up to scrutiny then it's not a problem.

I have never said production is the only way to go.

I like Copperpot and others understand why no bids have come in and if you want a bid what has to change.

I have clearly always said production is the most likely outcome given what the company says and the facts and evidence.

Ask yourself a question: What happens if we don't get a bid, how do we advance Cascabel.

So Addicknt on the data room let's look at what we know.

Around 20 companies have been through the data room. We know this because we had this communicated to us.

Currently around 5 companies are showing interest in us, Again we have been told this.

We know the Strategic review is under way, its purpose to ascertain how to progress Cascabel. We know as we have been told this.

We are looking at PFS3 as a low cost start up just over 1 Billion, again we have been told this.

When Ingo was here he had 1 Billion earmarked again we have been told this.

If we buy in the Civil engineering expertise we can build this, we may build with a JV, but we have no need to sell out to them as we can raise the money for a low cost route to production.

The people saying we cannot build this are on this BB.

I believe the Solgold BOD as they have got us this far. Over the so called experts on this forum who have been 100% wrong over the last ten years and still saying the same things that make them continuously wrong.

Solgold is a study and so is speculative it's not the same thing, so my last post stands.

You are correct I could have got out at 46 Pence. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

To be honest I have suffered cuts in my Dividend income as well as I have a large investment in DLG.

So 2023 has not been good.

On Solgold I am posting less and less as this is now in the bottom drawer.

I still believe we have something here, but we will only have a decent profit when we have a clear path to production.

We don't have to complete construction but we need to start it ASAP and get a low cost model producing.

Once we have that, then we have options.

I have been invested for over ten years in Solgold.

Trust me someone would have bought us by now.

I have explained over the years what needs to happen to sell this to a bidder.

Firstly the book must become less diverse.

A company that wants to bid for us, would have to talk to so many companies to acquire their share holdings at a price they wanted to pay.

We cannot have a hostile takeover, where someone bids for us as the price would be too high.

A JV now may be the only way.

That or this goes on forever.

In the last few days Rio Tinto announced a iron ore mine in Africa.

It took them 27 years.

What people on here don't realise is the government in Ecuador will have to wait

All this rubbish about they won't wait is rubbish.

They cannot interfere, to do so would destroy future mining in Ecuador for everyone.

I believe we are very close about 6-9 months.

Some time ago Solgold said that the PFS would be prepared and formatted in such a way that we could import large parts of it into a DFS and BFS.

Thus saving money and time.

On raising money at a higher threshold.

I believe we require the specials to do specific deals with other interested parties and exclude BHP and Newcrest and so achieve a higher price.

The reason we require the specials are to give Solgold more control of it's own destiny.

The dilution argument is a non starter.

If we need to raise more capital, then the specials allow us to do it on our own terms and at a higher price.

The likes of BHP and NCM can then decide to participate or get diluted and lose influence in upcoming votes.

We are getting close to start of construction at Cascabel.

Financing is close.
