I think this sector needs scale and the first sign of that will be liberation labs. Once production costs start to close in on traditional methods food manufacturers will start to take notice. However for cultivated meat they may be stuck in that middle ground like BMW, how do you push EV's when you rely so much on ICE car production, how do you sell cultivated meat when you rely of traditional meat cuts. So maybe its new players, like the Teslas and BYD in EV's, who will make breakthrough, but again it will be mass production that makes big profits and moves the SP dial. Small scale niche Wagyu steaks aren't going to shift the SP up. I think it's going to take years for attitudes to change but this isn't the Hydrogen car of the transport market.
