Troch, why do you say the market is not favourable for selling Dugbe at the moment? With gold at current levels there is plenty of M&A going on in the sector. Big producers are cash rich and looking to increase their future gold streams. They have to buy out explorers to do that.

Goldman, that may or may not be case but can you explain why so many are supposedly joining the process now? I'm stumped. It has nothing at all to do with covid!! Have Hannam not been contacting enough companies, or the right companies? I find this news of late arrivals annoying. It smacks of a very long drawn out 'proper process' and meanwhile Onion will carry on drawing his monthly wage. The way this is going we will be into 2024.

Building was relatively straightforward. Operating the first mine started well but undermined by a collapsed pit wall and a collapsed bridge. Unlucky yes but perhaps the pit wall was designed too steep. When you look at it the contractor they hired to mine let HUM down and have been replaced with big improvements since the new lot have taken over. It is all about hiring the right people. Onion and Big Jim could have done that, instead of just handing the true value of La India over to someone else.

Yep, let's not forget that this was 34p before the 'proper process' was announced to crash us down to 15p. We will be lucky to get 40p handed out to shareholders IF a sale happens at all. All this for 6p profit! With gold at these levels this should be nearing production by now. This lame excuse about 'we are not miners' is pathetic. Hummingbird were not miners and Dan Betts had no more experience than Onion. What to do? Hire people that can build a mine. HUM has now built two mines on schedule and on budget. It really isn't that difficult.

Agreed seingred - it is time that Onion announced a final date for a binding offer to be submitted rather than let this drag on interminably (burning cash in the process). Flush out any realistic offer. If none forthcoming then get on with plan b and take this into production.

Guvvi, I thought KOU was expected to be 130k oz pa in the first year of full production? If so overall it should be not far of 200k oz including Yan.
