As for the RNS it appears to me that they decided to go this way some time ago. Not to go all out for full finance. it now appears as Lorna had hinted that they want to keep as much of the pie for as long as possible. What I do think is now when we have carried out the plan in Q4 when it comes to FID it will cost the JV partner or Off taker a lot more to get in. I think our resources, flow, concentration etc are going to increase exponentially IMHO (BB)

They have been talking to "interested" parties for a long time. Perhaps some of these were about initial finance? Perhaps they refused a JV at this stage as deemed it more profitable for us to do this work and make them pay more? We don't know......

So in the Financial section of the FS to get the ML, maybe they did, maybe they didn't say specific companies, we don't know! But we would have said this is how we are going to do it and why they were confident of doing so which was good enough for the TG to award the Licence.

To just say we are an AIM company who have raised before is not going to cut it in a FS for ML I'm afraid. Jeez virtually all on AIM companies have raised, and several times, many have gone bust. Hardly a ringing recommendation.

Folk need to DYOR and treat a certain posters monologues with care. Mixture of facts/half truths/BS/smoke and mirrors/negativity/claims of being right all the time to suit an agenda..

so I am happy enough with the RNs. Back to waiting patiently and an exciting H2 coming on 2 continents. The dips don't both a long term investor like me. They only bother the Traders like the obvious one here.

Bluebay you don't know the costs you posting your opinions as facts again. You don't know the costs of maintenance (by locals) against the considerable costs of decommissioning and then commissioning again. Plus the time that takes. In our situation being prepared is best scenario.

The company aren't stupid when they decided to hot stack. We are not exactly cash strapped, neither are we cash flush. IMO there is a considerable difference in costs over a period of time. Plus as said the benefits of being ready to mobilise for us, or someone else, at short notice. Do you realise how long it would take to reassemble and commission it? Also much more chance of something going wrong doing so. So I think I will go with the BOD's opinion of what is cost effective and best for the company. I would say what has ESIA got to do with it but unfortunately that will give you a chance for more barmy theories.

How would you know the costs Re The Rig? Expert on all as usual. When it is hot stacked the maintenance is kept to schedule and when needed it is very quick to mobilise. PLUS it was ready to hire out to another company although that never happened.
