so, if you prevent punters from buying and also briefly reduce the price to zero, therefore triggering automatic stop-losses, the results are somewhat predictable. the big question is what happened to all the liquidated positions ie. were these shares scooped up at close to zero price by some major market participant(s), or can the transactions be reversed by blaming it on a systems failure?

Earlier this week Morningstar.com had the KR1 share price at a premium of 3% to NAV but, as of 18/08/2025, they reckon that it is at a 40% discount with a fair value estimate of 72.9051p. They also have an Uncertainty rating of : Very High.

This is a strange share: Not correlated to Bitcoin, or inversely correlated either, certainly unpredictable and volatile!

Is there any good reason to assume that the data in cointracking is correct/up to date? I see a mention of UDSC back on 31 May 2023 , when it represented 1.58% of the portfolio and just making it into the top 10 holdings but not since then.

I am hoping KR1 will rise above 50p once again but it has been a miserable performer since December 16th 2024 , the last time it was above 80p.

I was using the ADVFN website and the ASK price may then have been 97p, from memory but I don't have a subscription that would allow me to access these historic trades, with the Bid-Offer spread at the time .

Bitcoin soaring by nearly 4% and KR1 following but not at the same rate. Positively correlated, at the moment but this doesn't always appear to be the case. :)

If Bitcoin can approach or break through $100, then perhaps I bailed too early but have watched KR1 plunge previously, so no regrets at this time, having averaged down a lot this F.Y and still have plenty of shares left.

Yesterday you could sell, at one point, for 94.6p per share! The peak price this year was 112.5p but it also fell to 40.5p, so not at all surprised that there has been some profit-taking .

I sold half my shares at 86p (average cost 66.74p), to hedge my bets but perhaps should have sold more, given that the bid has now fallen to 73p and the sunny uplands of £1+ may be some way off?

The trades shown here at 64.3p and above are all buys AFAIK, as reported by ADVFN (one of them is mine).

The latest update on the net asset value (with a one month lag) doesn't appear to have had any significant effect on the share price and the real spread is much tighter than indicated by the shown bid/offer (actually within a 0.3p to 0.5p range today!)

If Bitcoin can hold at $68, or above and Celestia also rises, then perhaps KR1 will regain the recent (June/July) highs of 70p+ ?

The dump of 70000 shares at 91.5p was below the bid price at the time of trading, as was the 120000 share sale. Presumably the seller must have been desperate to offload and take the hit, due to placing trades well beyond normal market size? I was hoping for an upward move and had set up limit orders to sell at 115p and 125p because I was away from a screen for most of the day.

If Bitcoin continues to fall before the halving, then it will probably drag most other crypto down as well but a reversal to above $72k would change the picture?

Currently 619.8p to Buy. Bought these downwards from 680p (average 648p) but hopefully now near bottom, with a very attractive yield.
