There isn't going to be an RNS about wireline logs on their own. The RNS will be released when the casing is perforated and initial gas flows are measured and analysed, probably later this week.

Ihavenoclue, a discovery comes at the point of an initial well test which is the few days immediately following wire line logging. The extended well test is when fine tuning occurs and data for production planning happens.

So, the second drill hole at the new site also intercepted mineralisation.

Hex has a lot more advantages than HE1. Far better infrastructure, better logistics, better market prices and more potential for expansion. HE1 is stuck in the middle of nowhere.

Rob, a placing would not be used to build a pilot plant unless it was part of a larger funding arrangement. SB has already stated that the last placing (which was an unplanned strategic placing with help from the Saudi investor), would cover the current program of work until the end of the year. There are staff working with the Australian government to get funding for a pilot plant that way, and will depend on a documented and detailed pilot plan due at the end of the year.

4kandles, SB stated very clearly he did not want to spend money on an ASX listing right now, and that makes sense. The focus now is on the lab work and finding an effective mineral separation and processing route. An ASX listing will make no difference to the value. The value will come in increments as each processing step is tested and defined backed by the science. As I said, nobody will make a big commitment until we have the scientific details of the weathered cap - this should arrive soon and there may be some results from basic wet table analysis at the same time. All we currently know about the weather cap is that it is some form of titanium dioxide derived from titanite.

One of the problems is that people are often confused about what would be required when separating and refining a non-refractory ore. The key word here is "non-refractory" meaning it is not resistant to being altered, and as SB has said, it is basically soil and therefore much easier to separate than hard rock or mineral sands. Separation of titanium minerals from gang materials is not the difficult part. If you think about the typical sedimentary copper deposit, then you will get some idea. So, it will likely be some form of wet gravity separation followed by acid leaching steps. We also have the benefit of being able to skip the crushing step that many ores need to go through first. The more complicated part might be the final refinement to high value and high purity products, and I only say might. Don't get unique mineral combination or assemblage confused with a requirement for a unique processing. Almost all mineral extraction of this type around the world requires testing and optimisation of gravity separation and acid leaching to optimise recovery from the ore.

Troajan, you are getting everything muddled up. They are not building the pilot plant before testing the mineral separation. The scientists and other experts will be testing various stages of a process, which will be used to design the final pilot plant design with flow sheets. So, the next news should be a new petrography and mineralogy research document. Then after that, testing of mineral separation incl. wet table analysis, acid leaching techniques and further refinement to various products. Feasibility will be the result of a final process design, pilot plant design, economics and target markets, etc.

No, what SB was saying is that within established technology they just need to test for the best process. None of it is new technology, and as he said, it is a lot easier than what the hard rock or mineral sands minors have to do.

You can't base investment decisions on outdated articles, and you have to pay attention to who is writing it. A lot has changed in the last 3 months, i.e. a new discovery.

Nobody is going to make any big commitments until we know the lab results for the newly discovered high grade cap, which will arrive shortly. But when it does land, you won't be buying at this price.
