Seems like we will breach 10% rise today on the close
All we need now is an RNS to confirm it
Lombards must think the same. You wouldn't be eager to sell stock before a mid east size gusher because you'd be kicking yourself from here to eternity... lol
Generally, I have a more peaceful life when I'm not reading this board.
Perhaps, that's over pessimistic on oil price going forwards - inflation etc....
This might give a better idea

@brynjon let's just say going forwards there is a strong possibility we could be looking at in excess of $50 profit going into, say, 2023 onwards. Increases in POO from now towards 2023.
bryjon,
Given that a lot of production has stopped due to the sudden downturn and it will take structural time to ramp that up when the economy improves generally we could be looking at Brent in excess of $100.
Irene stop trolling me and generally deramping.......
I was just making an anecdotal opinion based on an RNS release - take it with a pinch of salt.
Brent is currently 55.54
WTI 52.69
Isn't that very unusual. Lombard must think there is oil.
Doubtful it's a bull trap. MMs look like they were caught off guard.
Agree, endless chatter about a soveriegn wealth fund on the basis of no oil seems a bit pointless especially now that the drilling can't be stopped. It all points to preparing the next political stage for production. Once, a commercial discovery is made BG would want to earn from it.
By on the close with size is usually an indication of something positive to come. Hold on to your hats and get ready for the ride.

BPC said such a fund could benefit generations of Bahamians, using the example of Norway, which has accumulated “tremendous wealth” through its oil and gas resources.
If you go on GoogleMaps say here:

Roughly where IceMax is located. Find Cay Sal a small uninhabited Island with a lighthouse made in Britain.
Anyway, just say zoom in as far as you can go and then hunt round that area in the sea depths you find strange dark spots.... not it's not pirate treasure lol
Could it be oil???
Anyway, helps pass the time.....

Chesh chuck a few coins down the back of the sofa.....
