Agreed Altube. Sitting tightly. Can't believe they don't know more than we do. However, I think a takeover were it to happen would be at highest 12 month share price, about 220.
I'm imagining the situation in UK hospitals....'We've got this nebulised drug to trial, but let's throw in some steroids as well just in case - hit it with all we've got!' Never mind that they steroids may affect efficacy. Not sure RM would have known at treatment stage of trial.
Two deals of 37 shares, each buts for less than a tenner - weird!!
There's a lot more to this story, I think that the RNS release is planned, with follw up to come. Whether this is RM statement or another RNS with Activ2 news, who knows.....
Who buys 18 shares? What's the rationale of that?
Have looked on the Faron chat. Mentions about steroids screwing up results. 80+ % of trial patients also on steroids does not give a clean view of SNG efficacy. Really get the feeling that the company is not happy with UK trial collaboration, it all seems really messy. Have much more confidence in the Activ2 trial, especially as unblinding of results led to progression to next stage.
No not ignoring sells which are understandable. Just says that there are some relatively chunky buys and some hunger for shares
Something is afoot. Two 100,000 share purchase just gone through. Also, who buys 26 shares twice within a matter of minutes. I wonder whether this is a case of getting bad news out of the way before the good stuff
When was the closing date for applications? I understood that this has passed, thus explaining this change
Yes, there are too many questions that remain for me. Recent director spouse buy, 'We know it works' , commercial appointments, Activ 2 progression etc etc. I certainly think that the news cycle isn't over. Positive from now on
I gave always got the impression that the UK trial has proved difficult for Synairgen, with no clean pathway. This is confirmed with the corticosteroid issue. So much still to look forward to with the US trial on different parameters which equate more to the phase 2 trial. The drug is agnostic, so not just Covid.
Crazy to sell. Reckon combination with corticosteroids didn't help. Eagerly awaiting 'clean' study with just SNG used.
An interesting hour on the chat. There's so much to still look forward to I reckon.
Completely agree Taverham
Yes, I find it difficult to believe that Polygon have been blindly buying up so much of the company without some fair degree of confidence. The remaining trial may still surprise us all.
Covid has not gone by any means. Look around the world. SNG001 is agnostic. Jobs gave only recently been advertised. It's pretty clear people need to be in place in these key roles with strategies lined up when the RNS that we're all waiting for can be released.
Aren't we hitting 2 weeks since the share purchase RNS? Reckon Monday may be a news day, but patiently waiting either way.....
Bearing in mind that a lot of this excitement seems to be US focused, could we be expecting an intra-day RNS?:)
Not been following the whole thread, but Covid 19 is named as such due to it appearing on the scene in 2019
Nessab, I think this is more of a way of early monitoring at pretty low cost, oxygen saturation monitor etc, particularly for those in vulnerable groups. Makes a lot of sense really. Having said that, once this is established, when SNG001 gets approval it will give it a chance to be used at just the right time for maximum effect, again not overloading hospitals and with a good cost/benefit.
Scottie, your story doesn't surprise me. As a clinician myself, it is clear that most doctors are only really exposed to the knowledge of present working practices, protocols and treatments. The shame about this with regard to Synairgen is that it doesn't take much awareness of the science and the trials to realise the huge potential here, especially with the numerous online explanationsfrom SSH. Quite sad really, as if this was the USA we would have probably had an EUA a year ago. Nevertheless, I'm sure that you will have your day with the ever-so-knowledgeable doctor. ;)
