The reasonable expectation on anything materially progressing for SML would be the end of the second quarter: the PEPR will have been submitted by the end of this quarter, with potentially a three-month lag thereafter for the SA government’s response; and any Redmoor deal will not conclude for at least another six months. All in my opinion, of course, predicated upon previous news, media soundbites - and the company’s lack of performance over the past couple of years.

SML should have employed Cornishknocker and southwesterner as their mining consultants - we would probably be close to producing, along with a 5p-plus share-price.

Agree on the raise at 1p, to continue to own 100% of LCCM - and its imminent future profits.

Cornishknocker would be equally well versed to explicate the pros and cons : two opinions from two mining experts assist in building a more-informed investment decision.

Therein lies the crux of the problem with this company’s lack of warmth from investors: the past few years’ misleading guff in media and in RNSes (thanks to our fishy friend) - the BoD must revive the trust that investors placed in them pre-LCCM, for a sustainable increase in the share-price. A PEPR or a JV or two may well work.
