I have just received the circular re the AGM and special resolutions. May I have your thoughts please? Having a read I can see no other way other than to vote for it, if we are to have the slightest hope in getting our money back

Casper - wise words. I have now sold all my piddly holdings and now only have 3 companies in my portfolio, incl. ORCP, which I bought into last week following my research. I've had one very good holding for 3 years - it's gone up and down, but now steadily on the up - because the management is simply superb and communicates regularly. I used to be a rainbow chaser (I was a rookie) and lost money. ATB Ian

Chaps as someone who is still pretty much a novice, I cannot understand why the SP is down when they buys outnumber the sells by approx. 4 to 1. If someone could elucidate I would be grateful. Cheers Ian BTW I am a LTH in the share and love it!

PLP you'll want to sit tight on these. I've held for +3 years and don't regret it. Read posts from other LTH's, this has always been a good board, You will easily work out who the good posters are with their reasoned and well researched postings/arguments. Oh and ignore most of what is put on Twitter - all you will see is BOOM, and rockets and other such codswallop.

As I’ve said before I’ve been holding these long term and will continue to do so. There was blood on the floor across the markets today, so no great surprises here. However I think it is disgusting that MMs can get away with manipulating the market and triggering stop-losses, which simply causes the SP to fall further.

+20 million more bought than sold and we are 23% down?? Time to turn off and come back to this tomorrow maybe...

Well said Stuart. I recall when I was a complete novice being drawn in by rampers and boy did it hurt when I lost money. Now I do my research and as you say, this board has always been about GGP and the potential here. Now I filter out the drivel and concentrate on those who know what they are talking about. Hello Fred. You are absolutely right - the quality of the posts on this board takes some beating. I barely ever post, but I do read and the other chaps are right when they say you will soon learn who the numpties are. I've been holding hear for about 3 1/2 years and still believe this is the best investment I have made. Unfortunately I am sitting on a big loss with OMI at the moment, however I will be topping up here when I can free up some more funds. GLA

Just out of interest what do you make of the volume sold to bought? Are the MMs holding or do you think we'll see some delayed or after hours trades?
My average is 1.2 and I have held these for a good three years as I have always seen that value in this company with a superb BOD and the RNS is just superb.

Why would the company which compiled the report have to carry out its own internal review of said report. This has to be quite one of the most corrupt BOD's I have come across. I have cast my vote for the upcoming GM. I really do hope we get the right result this time around...

Excellent result for PI's. Now for the EGM and get rid of JZ et al. I have held these long term and this is one of the few Aim companies I have faith in.

Hi all, can this be imposed or can we collectively force an EGM? I can understand a consolidation of anything from 10 to 1 or even 100 to 1, but 1000 to 1 and you lose any fractional shares seems like blatant robbery to me. Great fun for any info? Best Ian
