Are you a fan of the Arris rail system or a believer of the twenty quid panel?
Full ask paid - maybe Sven the carpenter has been sighted on the road to Jokkmokk with a shed load of feather boards and a drum of creosote
Any news on the Forrest fires raging around Jokkmokk?
I wonder if he’s still going ahead?
I was planning on attending this years agm but I notice its in Sweden. Unless the concession comes and we hit 50p Ill have to give it a miss
I fully agree with you regarding pay/hours but these machines have changed the whole job description of a betting shop worker. They are there to basically empty the machines, fill them with paper rolls and refuse a dog or horse bet thats over thirty pounds. Two weeks ago I went on a sports terminal and tried to put twenty pounds on a golfer in a big us tournament. The machine would only allow five pounds. I was gobsmacked. Senseless as I just did four separate ones
In todays racing post regarding FOBTS, bookmakers noted as saying: They insisted they were best placed to help tackle problem gambling because they knew their customers so well. I dont know if the area I live in is different to everywhere else but betting shop staff regularly allow customers to play on two terminals at the same time. How is this taking responsibility? Even yesterday someone was doing it and there were two staff (including the manager) sat close by.

Was the 5th March the date to comment on the commented comments or was it to comment on the comments of the commented comments? Its easy to lose track here. It may even be the date to comment on the comments of the comments of the commented comments. If the latter, surely the cab will want to voice their opinion on them?
All we need is for the herders to spot a great crested newt among the discarded tins of herring broth and were flucked!
Are you back in Cornwall yet?
It would be interesting to see what Kurt could do with this company with a nice bit of JV money in the bank. He certainly says the right things and theres always plenty going on in the background it seems
Just be patient. Before you know it well be celebrating. Picture the scene: Drinking copious amounts of tinners ale in some far out Cornish inn whilst shining each others buttocks with brasso. Meanwhile Eric is in the corner playing sea shanties with the aid of an accordion. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=h60WaH0AZ64
We can but hope sir. I hold but dont really post much on here anymore because it has become so tiring. Im sure like many on this board Im mentally drained.
On the 23rd May 2015 you said to sj you ate devilled kidneys for breakfast. On a further occasion you clearly stated to subtle that you ate devilled reindeer kidneys for lunch. Yet in a recent post you deny ever consuming devilled kidneys of any description. Would you like to amend your statement to the house?
Probably topslice at 40p
Does anyone know what impact the reduction to 2 a spin on roulette will have on the other slot type games on the FOBTs? I only ask because people lose vast sums of money on them already with 1 and 2 spins every few seconds. Also the argument that the companys put up regarding job losses is a bit of a red herring in my opinion. I say this because the introduction of the FOBTs was solely responsible for creating the jobs in the first place. Where I live there used to be four betting shops within approximately a one mile radius. There are now eight. If those jobs werent created in the first place the machine attendants would be employed elsewhere stacking shelves etc. As for the FOBTs being used as a pawn in order to save horse racing - its been in decline for years - if the business is unsuitable then it must die. Just because something is a money spinner doesnt mean it should come before the greater good.
