Absolutely spot on. I am thinking the risk of Indian govt losing a very big amount is very very real and they surely know this fact. Do they take this risk bearing in mind they have done all the wrongs which they are fully aware of or reach a settlement and not look back in developing the tier one mine. If I was in charge of making that decision, I know what I would opt for.

The Indian govt have just so many cases I believe going through courts and they might not want to spend time going through with this additional which is so critical to the local economy. So, I won't be surprised at all that we have an RNS stating both parties and their lawyers are locked in talks for a settlement.

I would submit both the electronic version and allow enough time for the hard copy to arrive (acceptance to be signed as proof) before the deadline.

In my view, Tim knows he has the product that works and no other company has anywhere near this. He has said this very clearly. One does not make this up in the scientific world.

The issue, and therefore the delay, in my view is getting the right deal for the company and all stakeholders which is what Tim is attempting to achieve.

I hope it's around $1.8B and then out of court settlement between $750M and $1B but who knows.

I know I am jumping the gun here but I would like to think that, besides the idea of paying out a big special dividend, MB could possibly be exploring where PAT could invest going forwards. One possibility- a JV in a gold mining co , the likes of OMI in Colombia. Now that would be something.

Sorry I meant to respond to your point. I am very optimistic that the claim will be big. The fact that they have expropriated the asset which we could have developed. The article talks about the 'range'. Ultimately, I think we will be guided by the Advisors as they have extensive knowledge in this area. I am hoping it is based on the 6.7m ounces announced by Rajasthan

Agree PK, Gallmat. It may be the reason that the SOC will be submitted as late as possible.
