ANNUAL GM OR EXTRAORDINARY GM5 Jun 2021 00:39
AS PER 4 MAY RNS:
" Shareholders should note that one of the potential transactions proposed is one to which AIM Rule 15 (the fundamental disposal rule) would likely apply. Accordingly, a circular would be published by the Company and the transaction would be conditional on the consent of the Company's shareholders being given in a GENERAL MEETING ".
GENERAL MEETINGS CAN BE OF 2 TYPES - (1) ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND (2) EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING.
(A) The RNS of 4 May, the extract of which I have copied here, simply refers to GENERAL MEETING. Therefore, why are people assuming that the sale of the assets would have been covered in the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING this month? I believe the Board will call for an EXTRAORDINARY GM for that.
(B) The extract copied above from the 4 May RNS CLEARLY STATES THAT " A CIRCULAR WOULD BE PUBLISHED BY THE COMPANY " - (to give effect to the proposed sale of the assets). So, should we not wait for that circular to be published?
