Whatever the board say doesn't mean much right now, unless its the final conclusion to the sale.
Any information to tide us over will only increase the share price, not the final sale price. The interested parties will already know everything they need to.
It's hard to see your portfolio decreasing, but this is how it goes sometimes. Just have to wait longer.
1) We've had 2 decent RNS's this month with updates. I wouldn't agree that we are information starved.
2) The BOD were clearly caught out by this too. Who knows what conversations they've had with Alexei today.
3) We all saw the value of our portfolios drop through the floor, but the difference is remaining calm and composed.
Professor1 - But of course if it was a prior commitment he could have notified the BOD that he would need to sell on 27th January regardless.
It's all very mysterious, but yes, as Seadog said "This is Russia."
I hope we get an update about this later... "The Company is continuing with these enquiries."
Sudden divorce?
Bribe?
Family hostage situation?
Tax?
It's very intriguing. What could possibly appear from nowhere and require that much cash?
It depends when your trade went through and what the spread was at the time. It did reach 27p on google, so perhaps the ask price at that time was 28p.
I use Freetrade too, but with their Plus subscription you can set a limit order, so you could have placed it with a limit of 26p or whatever you wanted to pay.
28p should be more than fine in that grand scheme of things.
Yesterday will be one of them chapters of the past that people mention from time to time. Remember when we dropped from 4p to 2p... etc?
Now we have 29p to 14p.
Good luck to all who remained calm and didn’t panic. Investing is not as easy game to be in, with lots of bumps in the road along the way.
I’m not sure if the timing of the RNS was a help or a hindrance.
On the one hand, it gives people a chance to reflect and get their thoughts together, and gives the BOD time to repair some of this with an RNS first thing tomorrow.
Or will panic build overnight, with a sell off tomorrow?
Really hope the BOD will say something tomorrow. They are only vocal when necessary. I think it’s necessary.
On BBC now, imagine if he mentioned the mask on the live briefing, we’d go through the roof tomorrow!
Yes they are going to buy an expensive machine from Spain and use it to hang their laundry on.
What? You'd rather lose than it goes up?
Are you short on this?
