I don't doubt that someone knew something, but I think the timing is all very clever. We bounced off support, filled a gap and now this RNS is further momentum. Excellent from the BOD really. We have so much momentum now.
It was this part for me:
"The Directors are delighted that our hard work on Kola.... is coming to a successful conclusion "
How $ucce$$ful we will have to wait and see!
That you make as a 'negative' poster further reinforces my hold on the shares I have. I am a poster/reader here because I hold shares.
I do not post on, for example, ODX (first one on the latest share chat) because I do not hold shares and have no interest in this company. I won't spend hours/days/weeks posting negatively on a stock that I have no interest in - purely to save others from losing money, of course. What a sacrifice of their time, just to ensure you don't lose money on your investment. Bravo.
Everyone has an agenda. Mine is because I hold shares. What is yours?
NB. This doesn't include reasonable discussion. Just the posters with 100% negativity.
NBB. TMS is openly shorting this share, which I don't agree with, but openly doing something is at least... open. You can see their agenda.
I'm usually a lurker here, and an occasional poster. I see lots of negative posts without any 'proof' behind them, blatant ramping with the same, and often, people coming on here to antagonise others. I read it all, and its sometimes annoying, but I stick with it to see a 'balanced' perspective.
I've never filtered anyone before but I just had to filter GFD due to the volume of posts and sheer aggressive nature of the replies.
At least the metals in the ground are going nowhere. Some other stocks are dependant on getting product to market, research, technology - all things that involve timing and could be copied/gazumped by a competitor.
I'm holding because of the fundamentals. And also because, knowing my luck in the markets, the day after I sell the stock price will shoot up with a huge RNS.
Why would they RNS that? People would complain about lack of details then.
I don't see the issue with the company communication. Whenever an RNS is released from EUA I always rush to read it, as it's always important information. The BOD have and will continue to release RNS as and when information is available and relevant to release.
From LSE rules:
A special dividend subject to an offer becoming unconditional in all respects (UIAR), will be marked exdividend two business days following announcement of the offer becoming UIAR, (if the announcement is
made before 8.00am), or three business days following, (if announced after 8.00am). The date the offer is
announced as UIAR will normally be the record date
So it looks like the minimum of 2 business days for Ex after the RNS. The share price will instantly rerate anyway.
This one is a corker:
Graham heads up sales and unfortunately as far as we have been informed hasn’t been able to sell any masks in significant volume – will the sales team be bolstered and is it being considered that a ‘Head of Sales’ with appropriate health service credentials be employed as a matter of urgency?
The Company strategy is to develop a wide range of products, not just the mask; so a pure Healthcare salesperson is not necessarily the right appointment. The Company will be looking to build out the sales team where appropriate to do so.
After a quick scan, this is just a non-update. Most of the answers seem to be 'not now', 'we are looking at this', 'we can't comment on this' or 'no changes'. They really come across as clueless.
There's 12 pages, too much to post.
